Absolutely Amazing Stay!!!”

We were overwhelmed by the 5 star quality of the service and the friendliness of the staff. The room and grounds were immaculate. The bed sheets and towels were so soft. Our room had one of the best bathrooms we’ve ever seen. The staff provides daily water bottles and chocolates as well as updates regarding the whether. The pool and spa services were fantastic. Daily breakfast was delicious. The only drawback was that the resort is located about 20 minutes outside the Chiang Mai city center but this is easily remedied through a complimentary shuttle bus that runs to the North Hill City lounge near the East gate and within walking distance of the Night Bazaar. When we went for excursions outside the scheduled shuttle times we just prearranged a taxi or used uber. We did not mind this at all as it was nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city into tranquility. On our next visit to Chiang Mai we will definitely be staying here again!

Exceptional”

The resort is about 30 minutes away from Old City of Chiang Mai. They provide shuttle bus service to Old City, craft village and the premium outlet nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food of North Hill Mix restaurant is very good. The breakfast is yummy. The room is big, clean and well-decorated. They have some activities such as Yoga class in the morning and Thai cooking class in their organic farm. And we love the organic farm and swimming pool very much! Highly recommend if you want a quiet place to relax!

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed”

This hotel is located in the golf area and is perfect for people who would like to have some quiet time for themselves. However, if you would like to travel around, the hotel provides complimentary shuttle services to the city centre. The service provided by this hotel is exceptional. The staff are extremely friendly and would arrive immediately if we had any queries. As I'm a vegetarian and we stayed there for 6 days and 5 nights, the staff and chef would specially prepare different meals for me during breakfast at no additional charge. Extremely pleased with the service that North Hill City Resort provided. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely places ”

We had an enjoyable stay at the North Hill city resort. The location is about 10km from the old town and the way to go up there is nicely surrounding by the rice farms. The resort itself is very nice, spacious room with convenience bath and comfortable beds. The swimming pool have been maintained very well though they do not have a lots of guests at the time we stayed. We had a great dinner in the rock bar near by the pool which's nice. The small minus is the breakfast, the choice was a little bit limited& the juice was not so fresh. But still, it was an enjoyable stay, thank you guys so much.

Stayed at North Hill City Resort for 5 nights with family. Hotel was extremely clean. Very nice helpful & professional staffs, every request I made for any type of service was fulfilled perfectly by the very friendly employees. Nice interiors and good landscaping, very calm, Nice environment. Good food. Tips: Wi-Fi was slow at sometimes and bed was not very comfortable. Other than the comfort of bed overall, I like everything about the hotel.

The best hotel experience in the North of Thailand”

I visit Chiang Mai almost every year, this is the first time we stayed at this gem of a place as we wanted a more quiet and peaceful location. The hotel is situated on a beautiful landscape. From the moment you enter, you realize that everything inside and outside the hotel is of the utmost quality. The rooms are modern and in pristine condition. The staff is highly trained, helpful and friendly. An example of this - We celebrated my fathers' 50th Birthday at the hotel, and we requested for a cake to be made and delivered to the room at midnight, everything went as planned, they all came in with a big smile at midnight and wished my father, and when we asked for the payment at check out, they said it was complimentary. There were many such instances that made our stay feel like home. There is a cute little farm next to the hotel open throughout the day for guests to visit. The breakfast is a la carte style and has everything you would want. Both the restaurants at the property are wonderful and have a great variety of cuisines to offer. After a long day of trekking and excursions, we enjoyed the complimentary Spa too. I did not get a chance to play golf during this trip, but I do look forward to visiting the driving range the next time. If you are looking to spend a few peaceful days away from the noise of the city, this is the best resort for you.

Excellent rooms and service ”

Pros: excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. Beautiful grounds, nice bar, lovely pool area. Perfect for a golfing holiday Cons: rooftop bar not open daily. Location is half an hour away from old town, although the hotel has a free shuttle to town. However, last shuttle is at 10 so can’t stay in city till late unless you want to take a taxi back. Difficult to find tour companies that will come to hotel to pick you. Depending on which kind of holiday you prefer, north hill city is excellent for a nice relaxing holiday.

Loved it”

The room was cozy and spacious with great facilities. The swimming pool and the rooftop were clean and quiet enough to fully enjoy my stay at North Hill Resort. Would definitely visit again if have chance to revisit Chiang Mai again.

Very good overall, stayed at the Presidential Suite”

The hotel is located in a golf club quite a distance away from the city center. Despite its quite rural location, the hotel provides excellent shuttle bus service to various parts of Chiang Mai city. They even arranged us a shuttle bus directly to the walking street when the official service route does not stop there. In addition, chauffeur of the complimentary shuttle bus service waited for us to tour around the area and took us back to the hotel. Service was excellent without any doubt. All the staffs were very professional in their service and management. Even though the room in which we stayed at felt more like an apartment, the design was neat and the room is exceptionally clean. Views of the refreshing surrounding area add a finishing touch. The hotel is rich in various activities ranging from cooking classes to cycling. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a calm and relaxing stay. This hotel truly reflects a genuine 5-star hotel.

Quiet and relaxing.”

We enjoyed our stay at North Hill very much. It was a very relaxing getaway place for us with lovely landscaped garden, swimming pool, gym and, unfortunately, it was the rainy season, as the open air rooftop garden would have been a lovely place to hang out to enjoy the beautiful countryside and mountain view. They didn’t serve the regular breakfast buffet - due to the current COVID situation, but the breakfast menu (all you can eat) was very satisfying and delicious. Our room was great and there’s good channels of movies, news and National Geographic. All the staff were friendly and gave excellent service.

Great and Relaxing place in Chiang Mai!”

North Hill City Resort is the great place for relaxing! We stayed in the deluxe room with balcony and the garden view’s from our room is lovely and nice service. The Italian food was nice! Hope to come back again soon.

A great escape”

The lovely staff at North Hill was absolutely wonderful and made our holiday so special. Pete and Pangpond helped us plan the trip and organized everything with the free shuttle bus from the hotel to the lovely handicraft village and city center. Beautiful garden, comfortable room, amazing breakfast and the highlight is the pool. We had a very relaxing stay. Can't wait to be back again!

warm and sweet staffs”

i went north hill n unfortunately caught a fever the first night. the staffs there were so helpful and supportive. they bought me medicine, new thermometer, made me special drinks and congee to reduce the fever, and many more. it was so sweet that every time they saw me, they would ask how i going and wish me get well soon. u could reli feel that they cared about u. it was a pity i couldnt enjoy the lovely environment and facilities they provided due to the sickness, i would definitely come back again in the near future. thank you very much the staff of north hill, u all are lovely n incredible.

We are a young family with 3 children (4 to 10) and try to stay at North Hill City Resort whenever we travel to C'Mai. It is a great hotel when there are no golf tours at the hotel. Quiet.

Top Boutique Hotel”

Top Boutique Hotel outside the city center. Spacious and modern rooms and excellent restaurant. Large breakfast choice for Asian and Western guests, wide evening menue satisfying nearly all wishes. Very close to North Hill golf course.

Great place & great service ”

The staffs are wonderful, always there to help you. This place is 25-30 minutes away from Old City of Chiang Mai. They do have shuttle services to the town, to the craft village and to the premium outlet nearby. But we travelled by uber. Don’t forget to go for the private cooking class. We really enjoyed it! The chefs , the coordinator, and the helpers were wonderful. The room is big, clean, the snacks and fruit basket is free. You get chocolates at night. Haha I thought that was cute. Overall, this place is wonderful, quiet , nice view and the service is amazing. We had Italian food at their restaurant, The Zest. I would recommend you guys to try the truffle soup and truffle pasta.

Friendly staffs & good environment ”

Everything is good. Staffs are friendly and very attentive to guest's request. Food at Mix Restaurant n Zest is great and price is reasonable. Breakfast is great but the buffet line selection could improve a bit more with local selection of Thai food/breakfast will be much better. Among all the staffs, one stands out the most in terms of service, friendliness and attentive - the staff name is Phapadson. Compliments to her and all her colleagues 👍👍👍 I had a great honeymoon stay here and my wife really enjoy the view and the facilities provided 😊 If I would come to Chiang Mai again, definitely I will stay here again. Keep up the good service.

Outstanding!!! The staff was exemplary, grounds and room were beautiful, food was excellent ”

In my mind there were no drawbacks from staying here. Staff was very kind and went out of there way to make our stay the best it could be. The cleanliness of the rooms was outstanding. Walking on the grounds and watching the sunrise in the mornings over the pond with the birds chirping, just picturesque and serene. Downtown Chiang Mai was about 25 minutes, royal gardens about 10 and the main temple about an hour. Just far enough out of the way to make it secluded for a good romantic getaway. Will definitly stay there again without hesitation. The hotel manager even greeted us when we first arrived and when we left checked with us to make sure our stay was how we wanted it. Very pleased!!!

Good value for low season”

The resort is a bit far away from the airport and the old city, or the Nimman shopping district. But it's not an Achilles' heel cos you can get the shuttle services from the hotel (it's free if you booked 3 nights or more, or you have to pay 500bahts per ride), or you can "Grab" a car at around 200-300Baht. It's worth to stay in this resort for two or more nights to fully enjoy their facilities. They have free archery, swimming pool, fitness gym and a great garden view. The breakfast is great. Their "farm to table" cooking class is fun.

R&R ”

We booked this hotel aware that it was far away from town centre. We wanted a quiet place to relax for a few days. The pool is absolutely stunning and we had it to ourselves most afternoons. We did the cooking class and really enjoyed our experience. We went into their garden and picked all the ingredients. The owner came and made sure the chef was doing a great job, which he was already. The room was average size. We were impressed by the shower. It had three different shower heads. Each night, we were given chocolates at our room. There was free drinks from the mini bar so we would bring the juices and waters with us to the pool each day. We ordered mojitos and pina coladas at the pool. They were yummy! The breakfast each morning was a good spread with fruits, cheese, egg table, and hot dishes. We ordered some food from the back for example, egg benedict and waffles. They were all so good! Another thing we would recommend to do is take their shuttle to the outlet mall nearby. We went there twice and they dropped us off and arranged a time to pick us up. We were able to do some shopping, get massages, and eat at Wine Connection. Wine connection has great lunch deals. There is also a Starbucks there. We were really impressed with the hotel service for shuttles. We did not have a chance to go to the golf resort next to the hotel. We would like to come back and try it out. Highly recommend as long as when booking you are aware that it is in remote location.
