Amazing Experience”

I loved my experience at Hotel Nikko Guam! Some other reviews mentioned it was away from the main drag, which is kinda true but I prefer it this way. It is only a 10 minute walk to the center of Tumon. Hotel Nikko is tucked away and a bit more quite. I find that ideal. It's right next to Gun Beach which is absolutely beautiful. and has a great beach restaurant/bar called the Beach Bar which became a staple of our trip. What made our stay at Hotel Nikko the most special was the staff. They were the most friendly, attentive and accommodating staff I have ever experienced. That is not an exaggeration. My plans changed multiple times & the front desk team made this process seamless. I was able to add days to my reservation multiple times, very last minute and the team made the extra effort to ensure I didn't have to change rooms. They remembered little details I shared about restaurants and hikes we were going up. They always followed up and asked us how our day trips were. Great people

Our stay at Hotel Nikko Guam was truly a paradise vacation. The entrance was definitely breath taking. It definitely made us feel like we were in paradise. The open entrance leading into the rotunda and lobby area of the hotel was beautiful, very impressive. Being able to see the pool area with all the palm trees and the beautiful ocean background from the rotunda was quite a sight. The elevator ride to our room on the 15th floor was quite beautiful as well. The view from our room was quite spectacular. We loved waking up to seeing the crystal clear turquoise water along Tumon Bay. All the staff were very helpful and very friendly. The food service provider could use a little bit of quality assurance. We weren't very impressed with Magellan's- not necessarily asking to be in a culinary capital but the buffet was just ok. The Chinese restaurant on the 16th floor was very pricey for average Chinese food, nothing really special. The sandwiches from the pool bar was very low quality and over priced. The Beach BBQ was quite spectacular, although the food could use a little bit more flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation for us.

four beds rooms with ocean view”

It's so great to see the ocean through the big window of your room. I think every room of this hotel can do it. Very clean. Very good staffs, always ready to help. Rooms are big. There are four beds in one room, very suitable for family travelling. ...the night I arrived the air condition was not working, but it's fixed soon. The next day the door lock (a card lock) was not working, but it's fixed soon too. I think it not happened often, maybe it's a problem of luck. The sands on the beach behind the hotel is cruder than other places on Tumon bay. If you want to have a good swim, you should walk 5 minutes to Tumon bay through other hotels.

Nice Stay”

I have stayed both Sheraton and Nikko in my 5-days trip. Nikko has a better view with Tumon Bay side than Sheraton. However, Sheraton has better services which allow early check-in and check-out. The infinity swimming pool in Sheraton is better for couple where the swimming pool in Nikko is better for family with Kids. Location of Nikko is not an issue for me as the free DFS shuttle bus and Lam Lam bus come in every 5-8 mins. However, you definitely need a rental car if you decided to stay in Sheraton as no free DFS shuttle provided. All in all, I had a great stay in both Nikko and Sheraton and no regret. I would suggest to get a Premier room with Tumon Bay view in Nikko with Premier Lounge access and also Ocean view room with Club Lounge access in Sheraton.

Wonderful hotel!”

After having a terrible experience in Marriott Guam Resort and Spa, Nikko hotel gives us a new impression of Guam! The staffs are very friendly and polite! We were staying in the ocean view deluxe room and I would say everything is with high quality and we felt the caring of the hotel. We had a great time staying with Nikko!

Lovely resort on the edge of Tumon”

Hotel Nikko is a great resort on the edge of Tumon. I recommend also renting a car to get to other parts of Tumon and the island. I enjoyed the asian buffet, but the BBQ on the beach looked like a lot of fun, especially for families. There is a magic show too. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I highly reccommend Hotel Nikko. It is also very Japanese friendly.

Great hotel!”

Nikko Guam was excellent. I booked the 2 night stay on Agoda, for a standard room. Upon checking I was upgraded to a Premiere Suite for no reason. I was thrilled. The room was comfortable and spacious; complimentary refreshments in the frig. The ocean view was amazing. Dining and scenery was excellent too. Located at the heart of shopping and restaurants. I highly recommend this 5 star hotel!!!!

hotel room not so small our family 4 person 2 room bath tube clean sea view beautiful super beautiful sunset ,safety box god for swimming food nice room ,floor better is over 7/fl. of couse must booking by agoda haha., any how i like this hotel with beautiful personal beach.night time with dance babucau diner i will visit one more time nikko guam hotel.

Fantastic beach vacation get away!”

All of the rooms are on the ocean side of the hotel so all rooms have an ocean view and the view was wonderful. The interior of the room was nothing special, but was clean, comfortable, and completely satisfactory. The beach, pools, and water slide were great. The hotel is not as close as most of the other hotels to the other shopping and dining destinations of Tumon Bay, but shuttle service is readily available both to Tumon Bay destinations and other destinations in Tamuning. Being a little removed from the other Tumon Bay hotels, the beach is less busy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fine but too pricey w/admittedly gorgeous views”

I spent one night in transit each way going to/from Guam. I stayed at two different 4-star hotels since I was unable to book a room in the same one. Everything at the Hotel Nikko was fine, but I must say that I preferred the other hotel, which was cheaper, more convenient and had a more accomodating staff. Still, there was nothing WRONG with the Nikko. The view of the beach from my room was absolutely stunning and the room was very nice (especially the soaps). There is a 24-hour convenience store in the lobby, good outdoor swimming pools with comfortable hammocks on the side and it's just a few minutes walk to the beach and the (very small) Lina'La Cultural Park. It's about a 20-minute walk to the main shopping strip, or you can take a shuttle bus.

It was our second time staying at the Nikko in Guam and the front desk remembered us from the previous year. We felt like we were back home. The views are magical, especially at night. The breakfast buffet is delicious!! We loved those scrambled eggs. It was an altogether amazing stay. Thank you.

Good Experience!”

The slide was amazing! Also, it has its own beachfront so that was good too. Although the hotel is kinda far from downtown, there were free shuttles every 10-15 minutes that goes to and from Hotel Nikko and T-Galleria. So the location wasn't that much of an issue. The hotel is a little old tough. In need of some refinement and renovation. But nothing so serious. The staff are all really very friendly and hospitable. Made our stay more meaningful! They were always ready to help. Overall, even if the hotel is somewhat pricey, it was a really great and lovely experience staying at Hotel Nikko.

what a nice hotel”

I stayed two nights in Nikko last month. It was just awesome. nice biew and clean. I am willing to recommand this hotel if some of my friends plan to go to Guam.

Best Hotel”

Hotel location is near from Two Lover's Point, micronesia mall and DFS by Guahan shuttle. Room conditon was good. Wide, clean, nice ocean-view with high floor. Club Lounge was very convenience but snack menu was weak than liquor. I don't know exactly but room service was not exist that hotel. But generally all kind of services were enough to enjoy guam.

Perfect stay for family with young child!”

For a family trip with young child/children this place is perfect, it has all the amenities and anything you don't have your can rent from the hotel, mostly for free, like kids break toys, snorkel. Beach towels and chairs are provided free of charge, there's a nice pool side restaurant bar. If you want to take a trip to downtown Guam the trolley stops at the hotel . And the kids live to ride the trolley, perfect.

It was very nice to stay in Nikko Guam. I stayed at Aurora resort a week before for my business trip and it was really terrible. I pay even lower for Nikko but Nikko was 200 percent better in the context of facilities, services including food and staff education.

A hotel with good location, beach and not old”

the best of the hotel is that only hotel with gun beach and fafai beach but not tumon beach. tumon beach is good and seems with many coral, but is shared by many hotel located there. however, nikko holds two private beaches, thus having own status and differentiad from others. the location is good and only two to three bus stops to duty free shop (dfs) which is the center of guam with many restaurant. the room and facilities are new and good.

nice hotel”

Nikko is a nice and valuable hotel. Big lobby with nice staff. It has private swimming pool, it is normal size. Can go to the beach and enjoy the sunshine. Nice and clean bedroom with comfortable queen size bed, nice view as well. As a conclusion, it is worth to live in Nikko Hotel.

On the Beach”

Like a number of hotels in Tumon, Guam this hotel has seen better days. A little bit of refurbishment will go a long way. The room itself was big, with fantastic views over the water. It just needs updating. The balcony was great. The swimming pool area was good, with a large pool which never seemed to be full. There are loungers on the beach which is very close to the hotel. When using the shuttle bus it is one of the last hotels on the route before going to Macy's and then one of the first on the return trip. Did not try any of the eateries, so cannot comment. It is possible to walk to the main area in Tumon, but expect a little bit of a walk up a hill.
