“Fabulous staff”
The staff at Pink Coco make this place. Special shout out to the housekeeping and restaurant staff in particular, who were so incredibly lovely and kind, Yuni at front desk who really helped me out with departure and Juwita who was a great host. But all staff were fantastic. There was a nice evening turn down service. The breakfast was delicious and good value; only 150000 gross if not included in the room price. The rooms stayed cool enough (for me) that I didn't need to sleep with the air con on, though it also means it is a little dark. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were the best I slept on my whole trip. Improvement points from me is that it is way too dark in general. It was like applying my makeup by candlelight in the bathroom, and for the patio, the light is in the wrong spot, and trying to read at night was made difficult. It would be good too if the beach bar had actual dining tables as well and not just bean bag type seats. The only thing to beware of with this place is the location: the beach/ocean out front (and in the vicinity on either side) is basically unusable and the hotel is located a little on its on and it is poorly lit on either side at night. Neither of those is the fault of the hotel's but just something to be aware of when booking. Lastly, I'd recommend checking out the northwest side of the island (turn right out of the hotel). It is WAY nicer and cooler than the harbour side through which we all arrive! Free cinemas and just a more chill vibe in general but still with a party atmosphere at some places if you like.
