Excellence”
The advantages of this hotel are numerous, the downsides few. Rooms are spotless, sizable, well-designed and well-appointed (and I chose the cheapest). Everything works. The staff are friendly and unfussy, the atmosphere laid-back. Not everybody may agree, but the location was perfect from my point of view. A twenty-minute walk takes you in to the center (you have to cross a nightmare of a road in between, mind you), but there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants dotted around the immediate area, and the backstreets are quiet and relaxed. If I had to find gripes, I'd criticize the unstable reception of the satellite TV and dreary rooftop swimming pool (don't let children up there alone -- the surrounding walls are low, and horseplay could easily lead to someone falling ten-plus floors). I'm not sure about the security either. That said, I felt very safe during my stay in Chiang Mai, so perhaps the general openness of the hotel is simply reflective of the environment. In short, the Prestige CM Residence is a winner in almost all categories (except, maybe, for families with very active kids).

Comfortable stay, spooky decoration”
I liked everything about Prestige CM except its spooky interior. There's a manequin wearing Thai costume at the lobby that made me unable to sleep on the first night. In the room, there's a curved corner with a hugh wooden closet that resembled the cabinet that my family keeps grannies ash and ancestor remembrances. I gotta put a chair in front of the cabinet to stop myself from thinking there's something inside. The choice of art decoration is horrible. Hanging paintings are aweful to look at, especially the black figure painted on red background mounted in front of the elevators. Breakfast line was OK but not so many dishes to choose from. Minus the decoration, this is a value for money.

Spacious room, clean, good location”
We stayed 2 nights at Prestige Chiang Mai. The room is very spacious and tv is huge. There is huge bathtub in the bathroom. The hotel is in good location in Nimman and there are many car parking spots which is good if you bring a car. The room doesn't have a hair dryer tho (maybe can borrow from reception? We didn't ask). Wifi signal isn't that great but not too bad. The elevator is very modern. Overall we are happy with the hotel.

Excellent value new hotel”
We stayed here for two nights whilst exploring Chiang Mai and it is a new hotel and was fairly empty in low season. It was excellent value for the quality you got. The rooms were spacious, very fancy and clean. Wifi was reliable and hi speed and TV channels were also decent with some English channels available. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful too. There was also a roof pool and fitness center which looked nice although didn't actually try them. Breakfast was included and from memory was a choice of American or Asian and was fairly decent. I think they also had a continental style buffet too so you could help yourself to toast, fruit and tea and coffee. Location wise it is a bit out of town, you probably could walk into town if you enjoy walking (maybe 30 mins). But we had our own car so it was not an issue. Really good value for Chiang Mai, I highly recommend this to couples, families and business travellers.

Exceptional experience”
This was a wonderful experience. The mountain views from the 9th floor are great. The pool has nearly 360 degree views of the city. The room itself has a comfortable and modern loft layout. Kitchenette was great with stove, fridge, microwave, and washing machine -- all working fine. The location was great for me, as it was far enough away from downtown tourist core to provide some quiet and localness--yet, an easy red truck ride into downtown when desired. Also, can walk about 20 min to Neimanheiman street. Staff was wonderful as well. For the price paid, this was easily the best hotel experience I've had in Chiang Mai.

Good choice in Chiang Mai”
I have stayed in CM Prestige for 7 days 6 nights, though outlook of the hotel is not impressive, but with this price, it is a 5 stars hotel. The ladies in the reception are all very nice and helpful, 5 stars too! We are staying in Duplex King Bed room, toilet is on the 2nd floor, it is big but think it is better if there is some racks for holding our clothes. Big improvement of the swimming pool is need. Other than that all others are just perfect ! Hotel is very close to 7-11, Maya, night market.... all in walking distance. Good place to stay.

Ok place to stay for a few days”
Prestige CM was a nice enough place to stay for a few days, although I've stayed at nicer for about half the price. The room was large, but rather cavernous with its cement walls, ceiling & floors, so not very warm or inviting. It has a kitchen which is nice but unnecessary as most people eat out when visiting CM (it's less expensive than buying groceries and eating in!) in the kitchen was a washing machine which was handy. The breakfast was very weak, with not much food and of low quality. There is no regular shower in the bath, just a hand held hose, and considering that the place is made of concrete, the room was surprisingly noisy. A group next door was up talking loudly with the TV on until almost 2 am and I could hear them even with earplugs and a pillow over my head! And the pool was not very clean. Location was decent, about a 10-15 minute walk to the trendy Nimman area & Maya mall, but a 40baht ride to the old town. Nice coffee shop next door, Focus, to hang out at.

Excellent Service”
We enjoyed our stay at the Prestige. Its location was fine, close to the main street, in just five minute walk away from Robinson Department Store (Kad Suan Kaew). Local restaurants and coffee shop are nearby. Room is well equipped, we felt relaxed and at home there. Although the big flat TV screen has not so many English channels but its wifi service is fast and stable so that part generates no problem for us. Not so many staff are to be seen in the hotel but it is very new and everyone works his/her jobs effectively. Oh, did I mentioned that we do love the hotel rooftop swimming pool. It was great to chill out after a long day of work.

Loved this place”
This was suggested to me by a couple of friends who live there. It is quiet and clean. We were there in August so being low season the prices were very reasonable. Rooms large, respectful staff, clean, good breakfast. The location is perfect especially at night when Chiang Mai comes alive. Definitely planning on staying there my next trip!

Great Roomss Near Maya Mall (And Funky Grill)”
Prestige has great (large/clean) rooms at a really decent price. Breakfast is very basic but passable for the price of the room. The location is about a 5-8 minute walk to Maya Mall and many local eating locales on Nimmanhaemin Road. If you like spicy grilled BBQ (Mala) be sure to check out Funky Grill as you walk toward Maya - you will not be disappointed! Overall, Prestige is a good value for the price

awesome”
Good location which is located near Chiang Mai downtown. Having space in Duplex room type makes me feel comfortable to stay. Having washing machine is also good point but No space for hanging luandry at the balcony. This place is good, new and clean. The overall is beyond everage.

Great Location, Spacious+Comfortable Room”
Actually I have ever stayed in this hotel a few times before. Great hotel for business travelers. The best thing about this hotel is its location, located closed to Nimmahamin which is a life-style street of Chiang Mai. The location make the hotel convenient for both travelling and good restaurants, but in the same time not as noisy as those in the center of the street. The room is spacious and clean. However, the bathroom design of see-through glass window makes it awkward if you stay in a room with business partner or colleague. The hotel is equipped with a treadmill and a gym-bike, not as much as standard gym but enough to get some workout during business trip. The swimming pool is small but again big enough for part-time swimmer to have exercise. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only bad thing about this hotel is its breakfast, which is not a serous problem because you can easily find a lot of cafe within walkable distance.

Clean, spacious rooms and rooftop pool with bar”
Great hotel for staying near Chiang Mai Zoo and Doi Suthep. Clean and large room and a nice pool with bar (closing at midnight, unfortunately) on the rooftop.

Nice Stay”
I enjoyed my stay. I had a large corner room with two huge windows. The tv is the largest, by far, I've ever seen in a hotel room. Unfortunately, there were only a couple of channels in English so I didn't use it much. The breakfast is the same every day and was adequate but not great. There are a couple of restaurants (one a coffee shop, the other local food) very close and a few blocks away was a small market with good street food. The location is fairly far from the Old City and taxis are very expensive and hard to get. The oddest thing about the room was the lack of a shower. There's a lovely deep tub, with a hand held shower nozzle, but it is NOT a shower. For the price, it's a good deal.

Big room; helpful staff, nice breakfast”
This place is quite a good cheap hotel in Chiang Mai city that you can find as it has a bar and a pool on the rooftop. The staff here is friendly, and the breakfast is quite variety. The only downside is the location that it's quite a bit far from the city center. However, if you want to come here for Songkran, it's still worth it as it's not very far to walk to the main road where thousands of people enjoy splashing water along the way.

Always great value for the price”
This hotel is always a great value for the price. Cheaper than many hotel but cleaner, nicer, with a big bathtub in every room and that nice and cool loft/factory modern style. The simple room price is ridiculous ( most of the time between 700 and 900 THB for some rooms that cost 3 times that price in other hotel. Breakfast is simple but good enough and for that price, you really can't complain or ask for too much. The duplex is stunning. Been there more than 10 times and still come back often. Outstanding.

Cheap, clean and convenient ”
We stayed at the Prestige CM for 4 nights. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The area has bars and cafes within walking distance. There is a cool hipster scene in the Nimanhemin area with the various Sois having many cafes, ice cream parlours and massage shops. We enjoyed exploring this side of Chiang Mai compared to the usual touristy areas.

New,clean,comfort,good location,value for money”
Stayed here for separated 2nights. The hotel kindly allowed us to leave the unused luggage for the second night check-in. Rooms were resembled the photos seen, loft minimalist design with decent facilities, clean. Big double bed with suitable bedding, not too soft or hard, clean linen. Big bathtub for shower area without separating from toilet area may a little call for careful using. Water was strong with hot water. Air con were new and good condition, cool and quiet, excluding the inevitable frequent airplane sound from 6am-midnight from airport that not far from the city. BF was decent in Asian styles, not many but adequate, rice with curry, boiled rice with chicken, and certainly standard lines of egg station, toast bread with butter and jam, ham and sausages, cereal and fruits, fresh coffee and tea. Nothing to ask more at this reasonable price. Definitely stay here again next visit Chiangmai.

Clean, New & good location to travel to Doi Suthep”
The entrance is quite difficult to see. Food was nice and good location to travel to Doi Suthep temple or Chiang Mai University.
