I took my family to Sam Son in August 2025. The good points of the hotel are that it is clean, there is a shuttle to the beach (charged if you book through Agoda, free if you book directly), the lighting system in the hotel is good, the water is slightly weak (4th floor) but clean. The accommodation is spacious for families with 2-3 small children. I forgot a large bag of clothes and personal items, and the hotel staff was very enthusiastic in helping me find it, even though I left it outside on the hotel sidewalk. The hotel helped return it to us: very responsible, we are very grateful for this action. If you want a cheap breakfast, head towards the inland; before reaching the red light, there is a Hue noodle shop at 777 Ngo Quyen, it's decent. If you want to get prices like the locals, do not drive a car; if you do, don’t park where they can see you, as they are very savvy and charge quickly according to tourist prices. For seafood: we tried Quy Son Restaurant at 38 Thanh Nien Street, reasonable prices, good service, fresh seafood (you need to rent an electric vehicle to get there if you are not driving).
