8.0Excellent
I stayed there alone while traveling. The staff were very polite and I appreciated that. The room had a window, but it only looked out at the roof and wall of the neighboring building. Since it was a riverside location, it would have been better to pay a bit more for a room with a view of the river. There were no shops or cafes inside the hotel. The convenience store is a bit far away, so it would be better to prepare in advance. The soundproofing in the room was not great, so I could hear noise from neighboring rooms until quite late. Fortunately, they weren't noisy until midnight, so that was good. The hotel is conveniently located near museums and attractions, which is excellent for tourism, but I felt that the room itself was in line with the price.
Dear Hiroyuki, Thank you for your review and detailed feedback. We are happy our staff was helpful and that the location was convenient for sightseeing. We apologize for the limited view, lack of on-site shops, and soundproofing issues. We hope to welcome you again for an improved stay! Regards, Leo Sunday Malacca Near Jonker Street Formerly Quayside

I am very satisfied with my 3 days and 2 nights stay at Quayside Hotel Melaka! We took a River View room - the view is really beautiful at night with the lights of the Melaka River, and the kids were excited to see the River Cruise boats passing by. The location is definitely 10/10, right next to the Water Wheel, it’s just a short walk to Jonker Street, Stadthuys & Museum. It’s easy to take little ones out without needing to drive. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioner was cool. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s truly value for money with such a prime location. Perfect for a family trip. Thank you Quayside Hotel, God willing I will visit again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
