Champagne-Ardenne hotels & accommodations

We didn’t know much about Best Western as it is rarely seen and not a premium brand in Australia. We chose this hotel mainly because of its location , price and reviews on the booking site. The photos of the room also looked great. Our expectations were exceeded in every area. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff are fantastic and go out of thei...

Excellent location - 10 mins walk to old town. Modern reception area. Large clean modern room with tea/coffee making facilities. For my wife, the hairdryer was the best in any hotel she has been in. (Its the little things that help to make it). Parking on the street or secure underground parking for 10 euro - ideal for my motorbike. Pleasant helpful staff.

The address is 33 Rue de Ponsardin, that's the back door and bloody impossible to get in try the Boulevard de Paix it is an easy access into a great little place. Very clean very tidy staff are great and helpful, but the only drawback is the Wi-fi internet, it isn't free hard to connect to and logs you out often

Easy to find. Clean rooms. We did book this hotel for the secure parking. We emailed ahead of time and was told we didn't need to book but when we arrived the car park was full. As it turned out there are lots of parking around the hotel, free overnight until 9am so handy for one night stay.

This is not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at, but the locations proximity to visiting champagne caves is perfect. Intact what makes this hotel so heat is the staff! They were so helpful and made all the bookings for us to go to two different champagne places. There are dozens of restaurants just out the front door of the hotel. Rooms are funky, but very clean ...

We stayed there for one night on our way back home from a ski holiday. It was busy but quiet at night, the room was very nice, the bed very comfortable and I just loved the shower jets. Definitely a plus after a long day driving! The restaurant had a nice menu for dinner and breakfast offered plenty of choice for all of us.

Simple and basic, but clean and comfortable, this hotel is no more than a minute’s drive off the main autoroute driving from south back to Calais. Clean linen, fresh towels, shampoo, comfortable bed ... all for £28 ! Not bad. And a good location to stretch your legs because it’s right next door to a champagne production plant so you can take a short walk away from all ...

We stayed on 16/2/2019 and were very impressed. We have not stayed here for some time as it had got very dated, but we were very pleased to see that it has had a facelift. I would especially like to mention Alex, who was very helpful, approachable and came across as lovinhis job. We will definitely stay here in the future.

The location is good and the staff are excellent. The room itself was awful. There was a fan/air con unit in the room but this only blew out hot air making a nights sleep impossible during the current heatwave. I should have paid the extra for alternative accommodation and will never stay in this standard of hotel again.

Smallish rooms but very clean and quite well appointed with hairdryer , kettle and decent WiFi. A bit stuffy during the night - not sure if there was aircon but opening window did the trick. Location on reasonably quiet side street, off Avenue de Champagne, up at the Mercier end. 10 mins slow stroll past the Champagne Houses into centre (too many tasting temptations on...

We were warmly welcomed on arrival and all was explained. The rooms all face the sun, but during our stay the tempersture was over 30°C, even over 35°C during daylight. The room's A/C coped well though there was little shade for our car. The location is easy to find on the roundabout but it's a long walk in to the centre of Épernay for serious champagne tasting! Re...

its so easy to find from the train station, the reception is friendly. this is one of the few hotel who provide kettle in the room. its so useful as i am travelling with an infant. even they can speak english fluently, they will try their best to help you.

Set in a beautiful old French Chateau, this hotel is visually stunning. The restaurant, whilst expensive, serves amazing quality food in a very formal environment. The rooms were quaint, the bed was quite old and not great, but the rooms were very nice and we didn't want a stale modern room in this sort of environment anyway. Etoges is about 25mins from Epernay and ...

Easy to find and in a quiet location. Most things about the room were fair for a budget hotel but the room had a dozen blood filled mosquitoes present on our arrival. After finding and destroying all of these no more arrived during our stay. I feel that they should not have been present.

This appears to be a low-price chain in France that I'd never heard of before. I just needed a hotel for one night close enough to walk to the centre of Epernay. Epernay itself seems to have very expensive hotels in general, being a prosperous town and the centre of the Champagne "industry". The hotel had no frills, apart from wi-fi, which I needed and used, and the ro...

Pleasant stay. We were greeted properly and shown to our room personally by the receptionist who spoke good English. The room was quite small for a 2 night stay. No hotel information in the room. On the first night we had booked a meal in the hotel restaurant. We chose the menu at c53 Euros. The food was excellent, though I thought somewhat overpriced. A bottle of Chab...

The hotel was easy to find with sat nav, has private parking that was full but could park outside on the quiet road. The rooms were spacious, clean and tastes fully decorated. The only downside to our stay was the air conditioning, which wasn’t working but the large fan did help on the very hot night that we stayed. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is smacked right in the city centre (with parking if you're driving) and conveniently located to all shops and restaurants. It had a historic exterior but newly renovated rooms with all the modern amenities that you would need. To top it off the staff spoke English and were extremely helpful. They even arranged for a private transportation for us to get to B...

We have stayed at Domaine de la Foret d'Orient several times in the last few months whilst travelling to and from the South of France - the size, comfort and cost of the rooms make it worthwhile to us to deviate to here rather than stay in a hotel closer to the autoroutes. We have always booked the standard double - the rooms have been big with a decent size bathroom...

Being a family with small kids we didn't want to spend much on a weekend in charleville so we choose for a (very) basic accommodation. Premiere classe is just that: a roof above your head and a bed, shower&toilet plus a TV. It's quiet and clean, so if you're out in town all day and only return with the kids to sleep it is perfect. It may become tricky in warmer days si...

Having read the reviews was unsure what to expect! As hoped for, the property was right of the main road, as we were passing through heading to Calais. Secure parking. Good sized room, clean, comfy bed, telly with a couple English speaking channels. Good sized en suite, adequate towels and toiletries. Window had no curtain but had roller screen. There was no traffic n...

After having to move rooms on the first night (tried to close the sofa bed, it was broken and was told there were not supposed to be closed!), we had a very nice stay. The kitchenette is functional, but I would recommend taking sharp knives and tea towels/cleaning equipment. We brought bin bags and a dust pan and brush, as well as cleaning wipes. There was basic cookin...

I enjoyed staying at this hotel and it was cheap. I liked having a mini kitchen and hotel housekeeping only comes once a week or after you check out. It’s also right next to the park and train station and a short walk to the city center. The location was a bit far from the event I was going to.

Very conveniently located, very helpful staff. Best breakfast we've had in 3 countries. But the best part was all the amenities found in our room that we take for granted in America: AC! , lots of bars of soap, lots of towels, firm pillows, large beds, lots of outlets and individual lamps. We stayed in the large room for 4 (easily fit us and all our suitcases),...

Attentive staff got us a quite room on request. Location is good, close to the center and the square but quite. However venue could improve some amenities like the iron (which was very basic and barely had any effectiveness when used properly) and the coffee machine is missing. Rooms are small. But clean. Bathroom is clean and good. Tip for guests AND hotel staff: brin...

Hotel is located half way between France and Germany in the Ardennes region and is therefore a good stop off point if you are travelling in that direction. Setting is impressive within an old Fort and the conversion to a hotel has kept the character well. The rooms are well appointed and tastefully furnished. Breakfast selection was good but the food in the Bistro I ha...

Handy stopover from south of France to UK - about 3.5h from Calais. Excellent food at restaurant incl kids' menu but worth reserving table as v busy on Sat night and service slow. Didn't get to use outdoor pool but looked nice. Decent sized family room - 2 double beds. Clean. Friendly staff. Good choice at buffet breakfast - 13.5 Euros for adults, kids free. Would stay...

If you are looking for a place new, modern, clean, with everything inside this is the place! The house is more beatiful than the pictures! You will never regret! Believe me . Is better than a hotel. With amenities and nespresso with a few complementary capsules. The pool ( jacuzzi) is hot . You have everything you need in the bathroom , good towels and robes. Believe...
