We arrived by train and the hotel had a transfer waiting to take us to the fort. The area has many hiking trails.

The hotel is located in the historical area and is about 5-minutes' walk away from University of Macerata. It is also 15-minutes' walk away from the Bus Station where you can find Flixbus to go out of the city. The hotel is close to the supermarket Tigre, so it's convenient.

The older lady host was not friendly or accomodating. They only have 2 tight car parking spaces on their driveway and it is located on a busy main Street, when we arrived our car wasn’t able to fit because of how the angle of the first car was parked. Right on the beach and we had a beach view. Hotel was very modern beach chic and it has a wonderful spa that our 20 year olds enjoyed in December . I was so impressed with the decor. The staff was always able to answer my questions. Very nice breakfast buffet. 10 minute walk to city center. Special note: the shower was top notch!!
