The staff at this hotel were nothing but exceptional from the moment we arrived, everyone from the porters, front counter and Spa centre were amazing. We had stayed at some 5 star hotels during our trip and I can honestly say the service provided at Little riverside was far superior than what we received at other so called 5 star hotels. The hotel is almost brand new, so cleanliness was immaculate, the rooms were beautifully designed and laid out, the bath tub and showers were also well designed and with good quality finishes. So much so that my wife asked that we design our future home in the same manor as these rooms.. I cannot thank the staff enough. Regards, Greg. Overall, I think Sunrise Resort is very good value. I paid SGD 160 / night, which is very low for a 5 star hotel. Additionally, the restaurants, spa, etc were 1/3 the price of what I'd expect to pay in a 5 star hotel. Other highlights are: very good spa – skip the cheap stuff in town and book massages here every day, nice pools, the beach is fantastic, staff speak good English and service is top notch. Not so good: the hotel is overrun by groups of Chinese tourists. If you're comfortable with an idea of a random guy coming over and pick things off your breakfast table without saying a word or gentlemen "talking" outside your door at midnight, while standing about 30 meters away from each other, or sharing breakfast area with people who have very different ideas about acceptable personal space, then stay at Sunrise. If this kind of stuff bothers you (it does me), then check out nearby resorts.

The location is great for walking around Hoi An. The service is impeccable and the rooms are beautiful. Breakfast, dinner, and room service was all outstanding! We enjoyed the immaculate spa as well and we just cannot say enough about this lovely hotel. 5 stars for sure!! I would like to thank Hanna at reception for the detailed map and for going out of her way to make sure we were happy, King at the bell stand for always greeting us by name with a smile, Lani for one of the best massages I have ever had and I will never forget Pink waving goodbye like we were family. This was the best part of a two week trip and I look forward to returning with my family! I cannot say enough about what a fantastic experience this hotel is!!

La Siesta Hoi An Resort and Spa is conviently located, 10 min walk to ancient town (Restaurants, shopping, tailoring, cordwainer/shoemaker). Shuttle service also provided, 5 minutes to town, 20 min to private beach area at An Bang, good for lounging and swimming. Hotel grounds are very well kept. Two pools available, the one closer to reception is a natural salt water pool, two restaurants with different menu selections, a bar/lounge, gym, and spa. Our room was clean and comfortable, we had the jacuzzi tub on the balcony and two sun chairs overlooking the pool area. Staff were exceptional. They were polite, humble, and when minor things came up they were very apologetic and genuine in correcting any mistakes. The Royal Dinner held every Saturday night is a must. Dress up using traditional Royal attire and enjoy live band from Hue using traditional instruments. Minor grievances were typically related to breakfast order details and spa scheduling. We stayed for 7 nights and attempted to book a few times. The timings never worked out in our case and it was near impossible to schedule same day services at the spa. So be prepared to book in advance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Siesta and would definitely recommend for anyone looking to be just outside ancient town.

After a hot few hours walking around Hoi An we really needed a lovely hotel to relax in, a pool and a beach to cool down, so fantastic place to recharge the batteries in comfort. All staff very friendly. Amazing breakfast included in our room price. The beach and water was clean and well looked after. The in house tour desk was so helpful, we had some great tours and awesome guides. The side car motor bike trip was taken by others in our group who said it was the highlight of their Viet Nam trip and loved the guides and their fresh picnic. Very good drivers and reassuring to have a mechanic driving one of the bikes just in case! Thanks to all the staff at Victoria for pampering us :)

decoration is quite nice with a lot of details which shows good taste every where! staff are super friendly and helpful, welcome drink and snack are the best among all the hotels i stayed in Vietnam (including some five star hotels). only thing if they can improve is the shower water, maybe my floor is a bit high (10th floor), the shower water is a little weak (but acceptable for sure). definitely i will stay there again if go to Hanoi!

This hotel has just opened 1 month ago, but everything goes as smooth as it should be to be called: boutique style hotel. We were blown away upon arrival with the personalized welcome by Selena. She sit us in at the very nice & cosy bar behind the reception with a juice welcome drink & cold towel. She briefed everything about the hotel and its operation time, then she told us about all of the interests in Hoian with her pride as the local, then she personally escorted us to our room 602. Wow…The room was so tastefully decorated in pastel light blue with balcony plus 2 chair + 1 table for you to sit & relax since the whole river is in your sight. Everything in the rooms was so well functional from TV 42 inch, bed light to read book, old style telephone, safe ect…The buffet breakfast is 5 star standards with many choices from West to East choices including fresh fruits, juices, cooked & egg station to orders. You would regret if you don’t try their pancakes !!! Yummy… But the best part of this new hotel is the friendliness & eagerness to service from your staff who are so friendly, helpful and treat us like a family. We already plan for our trip next year and La Residencia is definitely our choice in Hoian town.

Superb location by the river, amazing pool, amazing buffet breakfast, complete with cook to order egg station! Wonderful room with the best pillows we have come across in 3 countries and 5 cities! The in room complimentary toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner etc) smell divine! But over and above the facilities and physical attributes, the best thing about this place is the staff, whom I cannot commend highly enough. We happened to mention it was our honeymoon and in our first two days, every member of staff, from reception, to restaurant, to housekeeping congratulated us and wished us a happy honeymoon; all in perfect English I might add! Every step of the way the staff are here to help however they can. It is clear that they are all passionate about hospitality, their jobs, their hotel, and of course, their guests. Nhi, one of the front office staff and tour guide, took us on a complimentary bicycle tour around the nearby village and showed us many interesting things we would never have found ourselves, for example, local boat building, master carpentry and wood carving, and cooking demonstrations of how local delicacies and staple foods are made. This place only opened last month so don't let the lack of reviews put you off. My wife and I are so glad that we chose this hotel. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night so we were here a week total. Hoi An old town is only a 10 minute walk away, but if you don't fancy the walk, there is a free shuttle bus from the hotel (and back) several times a day, which also runs to the beach. When you're finished eating, drinking and taking in the atmosphere that the town has to offer, you can retreat to this little slice of heaven. We can honestly say that this place, and moreover the people that work in it, have helped us create many happy memories that will last us a lifetime. LOOK NO FURTHER, BOOK NOW! 😃

We can very highly recommend this hotel, we loved it so much here that we kept extending our stay and stayed for 3 weeks. The staff.They really are the nicest team. Everyone greets you with a smile and cannot do enough for you. They will help you arrange tours, will suggest things for you to do, and whenever you leave or return to the hotel will greet you so warmly. They really care if you have had a good lunch, or outing. It really makes a difference to your stay to have this level of care taken for you. This fantastic team will really look after you. The housekeeping do a stirling job, the rooms are always mega clean. There is a twice daily housekeeping service too, so you have fresh towels whenever you have used them which is a nice touch. The location is also spot on, 10 minute walk through the town to the main Old Town. Availability of bikes which we used alot, it is really fun biking out to dinner and coming back through the old town. The hotel is also situated on the River, so whilst sunbathing in the garden or by the pool you have a lovely view and can watch the activity on the river. You get the best of both worlds, you are on the doorstep of everything Hoi An has to offer plus the peaceful riverside location. The Villas are well designed and very spacious. We stayed in a River View and Marina Pool Villa. As we work while we travel my husband and I were able to set up office very comfortably in the space. The wifi is good too and no passwords! We had to move rooms a few times as we kept extending our stay, however this was no issue at all with the help of the staff. So don't let that put you off staying here if you try to book at a busy time. We really would recommend staying here, we will tell anyone to do so if they come to Hoi An and we hope we will visit again one day too. Hoi An is a very special place and to have this great hotel as your base while you explore it makes the whole experience rather hard to beat!

We were here for 3 nights. From the second you walk in the staff are so friendly, nothing is too much for them and they always welcomed you back from your day with a smile. My mum wasnt well while we were there and the staff gave her some giner tea for her throat. little thing like that which could easily be overlooked but the staff wanted to help. The resort was beatuifully designed and very clean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean. the only downfall was that we had a bath tub and if we wanted a shower you had to pull it out of the bathtub and hook it up. the hook didnt have any ability to move so water was going everywhere. mum and dads room had a normal shower so i think rooms with bathtubs had this problem. When hanging out at the pool or in the bar and the staff were there to chat to if you wanted to otherwise they would give you your space. The breakfasts were amazing with so many options available. I would say the this hotel had the best breakfast on our trip. The spa was also nice. the massage therapists were very good. The location of the hotel was also perfect with a 5 min bike ride to the old town area. one thing is they should maintain the bikes a little more. the breaks werent the best and my bike didnt have a bell. The hotel shuttles were also perfect when you wanted to go into town for dinner or have lunch at the beach. we would recomend this hotel to anyone going to hoian.

We had made multiple purchases that actually filled an entire suitcase. We had causally mentioned it to the hotel receptionist. She offered to call the post office, have them pack up our stuff and mail it off to the states. It was 9 pm and by 10 pm we were done!! They can coordinate a private tour and when they say “no problem” they really mean it!! We got massages everyday we were there as park of our package deal!! Very happy and hope others can have the same experience we had.

I am not easy to please but I must say that I had a perfect stay in this new, beautifully appointed and excellently managed hotel. Really 5*. I was met at Da Nang railway station by the private hotel car and taken to this excellent hotel situated a few minutes walk from both tranquil, picturesque paddy fields and the river on one side and the busy, bustling quaint town centre on the other. Great position. The numerous young, smiling, well-trained staff could not do enough to assist. My room was perfect - large and modern (see pics) with excellent free wifi, great air conditioning and loads of hot water. Bed was so comfortable. Bathroom and shower were both large. The breakfast buffet was copious with both Vietnamese and Western dishes. Susan (they unfortunately give staff Western names) made the perfect omelette to my personal (vegetarian) taste. Edward, the excellent restaurant manger, was always on hand to check. What was also impressive was the regular presence of either the GM Mark or the CEO John who were always around the hotel to chat and listen. Reception staff were wonderful and the hotel-beach shuttle bus driver Ken was the best driver I had in Vietnam. Umbrellas and bicycles were complimentary. Free wifi was strong everywhere, even round the lovely swimming pool.

The best hotel by far for a 4 star hotel. The staff were all fantastic & helpful & went out of their way to answer my endless questions. Beautiful decor, rooms were spotless & mattress & pillows extremely comfortable. I booked on Agoda so I got a pretty good price. Would definitely .recommend this hotel. Fantastic!! Breakfast buffet was good too. We ended up staying for an extra 2 nights. The hotel itself looks better than the photos with 2 pools.

On line hotel booking photos and descriptions rarely match the reality, but in the case of Little Beach my expectations were exceeded. A charming, stylish hotel with lovely rooms and expert, friendly service. The choice and standard of television programmes was the best I’ve experienced in my recent travels. Everything is overseen by an attentive general manager. With their own beach club area at Bang An beach a short shuttle ride away it is the perfect combination for relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to return .

Overall, the Hoi An Hotel is wonderful. We chose a "Junior Suite" which is a really spacious room, very nicely apppointed and very comfortable with a triple bed. The food in the hotel restaurant was some of the best we had in Viet Nam. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff were attentive and friendly. We did have a small dispute over the bill - but the hotel accepted our version of events fairly quickly, which resolved that nicely. We also had asked for a transfer from the airport when we booked and that didn't show. They organised a good ride back to the airport for us very smoothly. Overall, you live in luxury at this hotel for an amazingly reasonable price.

What a great resort, one of the best in stayed in during my travels around SE Asia. Nearly brand spanking new and within walking distance to down town Hoi An. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the large pool was a welcome respite after a sweaty day walking the streets. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to an 'Emerald Suite' on arrival (we had originally booked a river view room. The suite was very large and had the most amazing view of both the swimming pool and river. It also had one of this pod type chairs on the balcony which was great for relaxing. The resort itself had a large, well appointed restaurant (although admittedly we only used it for breakfast - which were buffet and delicious), it also had a small gym (which was more of a 'gym-ette' with just a sprinkling of small weights and two treadmills) and a day spa. The hotel was kind enough to arrange a tour to My Son for us as well as return airport (Danang) transfers and I would definitely recommend booking your tours through the hotel. Pros of the resort: the room was very large (50 sqm) and very modern. The bathroom was absolutely HUGE !! with both a separate bathtub and a large, powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the reception staff spoke fluent English. The resort boasted lovely sunset views over the river and was only a 5-10 minute walk away from the main town area of Hoi An (which is a very lovely town). We never felt unsafe walking back, even at night but a taxi probably wouldn't cost much. It was also very quiet. There was also the opportunity to hire bikes directly opposite the hotel for about $3 a day and we cycled out to the nearest beach at Cua Dia (about 7km away).

So, we ended up at Lantana (on the wise recommendation of a friend) the day before the Typhoon Damrey flooding hit. Saturday afternoon, we drove up to the front gate on the road next to the river in a taxi. By Sunday there was no road to be seen and by Monday, the water was in the Lobby. And you know what? We never even considered checking out and going somewhere else. The staff here is simply the best of the best. They made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. They took note of our names right away and referred to us by them every time. They remembered the drinks we ordered (and enjoyed immensely) at Happy Hour and even what kind of eggs we ordered for breakfast. Every single thing was done with a smile on their faces, even when the circumstances were out of their control and less than ideal. When the flooding reached the lobby, we arrived downstairs in the morning to find that the breakfast buffet had calmly and simply been moved to the hallway on higher ground. Coffee was still hot and even eggs were still on order direct from the kitchen! Many of the staff members stayed at the hotel overnight several nights in a row. Some to cover for staff who couldn't make it in, we imagine, and others because they couldn't make it out to their own flooded homes anyway. Not once did we see a hint of frustration or annoyance or even the exhaustion they must have all been feeling. They worked TIRELESSLY and earned our business over and over again in every interaction we had with every single staff member. Our room was cleaned every day, our laundry was even done in a couple of hours on the worst day of the flooding, and it was all done with a general smile. We were so touched by Brian and his staff, including Anna, Lisa, Jessica, Nancy and many others whose names we failed to make note of, we literally cried leaving for the airport. We will NEVER forget our trip, will never stay anywhere else in Hoi An and will recommend this wonderful place over and over and over

We loved this boutique hotel and would strongly recommend to any one travelling to Hoi An, we were here for 7 night s and had the most amazing experience. It's set in beautiful surroundings, with a private beach and being on the end of long stripe of luxury hotels made it more exclusive. Most rooms seem to have views of the beach and swimming pool, the rooms are very modern and cleaned twice daily. We also looked at other hotels on our stay as we walked along the beach and felt this hotel had better spa and pool and because only offering few amount of rooms it was not too crowded. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection and choice to eat outside or in the restaurant. The spa offered excellent treatments with trained staff and lovely surroundings. The staff were friendly from when we first arrived and throughout our stay, they also operate frequent shuttle buses to the town free of charge and if you choose to go outside the times, a cab is only £3, they also helped us book a cookery course at no extra charge and gave useful information about the area. We would recommend this hotel highly, on our holiday we have stayed in many 4 star hotels in Vietnam and found this was the one we rate the best and we would look forward to returning too.

We booked 3 nights with Agoda and extended our stay with another booking agent . We arrived at 07:00 and were greeted with a good welcome . We knew we would have to wait for our room to be ready so we just chillaxed by the pool . Balconys on one side of the hotel offer an ugly view of the hotel wall next door - about 3 feet away ! That was the only negative . The rooms are modern and spacious with a good selection of tv channels . Breakfast is better than most , with an egg/ omelette and noodle station and buffet inc a selection of fresh fruits and fresh pastries . Free use of bicycles to get around and it is flat and there is beautiful countryside and beach roads to explore - just watch out for other traffic as it can be dangerous at busy times . The location is really good for both beach and town - about half way between both . About 20 mins walk to town . There is a shuttle bus to the beach and town but the service stops around 16:00 . I suppose it may be down to taxi companies not being too happy about running free shuttles in the evening ? The gym is small but has good equipment . Swimming pool is big but doesn't get much sun . There is a spa but even with the discount , it is very expensive by Vietnamese standards . Each early evening , house keeping come round again and freshen up your room and give us complimentary fruit - a lovely gesture that we appreciated. All in all , this has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in during our 3 months travelling thus far . The Staff and service is first class .

Great location for a conference and socialising in tropical beach surrounds. The rooms are better than average for Vietnamese hotels with benefits of great gardens, long sometimes swimmable beach, reasonable restaurants and pool. The fitness/spa facilities, food variety and business services were less than five star. The rental bikes were poorly maintained and too small for foreigners, the access to Hoi An inconvenient and the water/beach quality less than pristine - but it is Viet Nam.

There are just positive things to say about this wonderful oasis in Hoi An. We didn't had our best time in Hoi An, cause my boyfriend had to go to the hospital and stay there for a couple of nights because of dengue. But the staff and manager did everything you could imagine to help us. They accompanied us to the hospital, assisted us with everything, visited my boyfriend in the hospital, offered to cook a soup for him, made breakfast packages for him, asked me everytime, how he's doing and welcomed him back very warmly and brought immediately a fruit plate to our room. They furthermore made it possible to extend our stay a few times, although they were fully booked. And during the whole time we never had to change our room, despite several extensions. I cannot anumerate anything, but they did much more, to make my boyfriend do better quickly. Everybody was really worried about him. Special thanks to the great ladies at the reception and especially to the hotel manager Thanh!

I missed this place the moment I left. It was absolute perfection. The service was impeccable. Any concern, any question, they handled it immediately and efficiently. The rooms and resort itself is GORGEOUS. The food was delicious. The location was serene and tranquil but still only 10mins from the lovely old town of Hoi An. It's honestly the best value for money we have ever experienced. We will DEFINITELY be back.

If I could rate this hotel 10 stars, I would. The hotel is massive, nice pool, beautiful room and the best of all is the staff. I cant fault the staff. The service that we received was beyond excellent. We were always looked after. They are all friendly and extremely helpful. We had a family issue while we were there and the hotel staff just cant be more helpful and caring. Thank you for all the staff at Muong Thanh Hoi An. You all deserve a reward! I cant thank you enough.

Wow is allmi can say. I was trekking borth to south through viet nam in may this year and decided to treat myself when i saw the sale on agoda i think it was 40% off and man did the place deliver. The room was bigger and better fitted out than my appartment back in sydney, tne staff were amazing food was great yhe feee shuttle is good but best of all was my cooking class i did with the chef. I was the only person so i got a private tour of the markets and had the hotels kitchen to outselves. I had the best time here.

Actually we stayed 3 nights in this hotel but extended then for 2 more nights because it was one of the best hotels we had in Vietnam. We arrived during Tet holiday with the night bus at 5am in the morning. Usually you can check in at 3 pm in the afternoon but they were so kind and gave us a room this early. The room was quite spacious, clean and very modern.The bed was really big and super soft. The bath was bright, had shower as well as a bathtub. We had a nice balcony with a lovely view to a small river and a palm garden. The furniture was brand new and everything was very comfortable. The hotel is well maintained and has a beautiful pool where you could spent the whole day with a cocktail or fresh juices. The staff was incredible nice. We are spending a lot of time in hotels all over the world and not even in the most five star hotels you get treated like this. They even remembered our names and tried to make our stay superb. The hotel is a little bit outside hoi an but that makes it even better because it is really calm and relaxing. They offer 3 times a day a free shuttle to hoi an or you can borrow a bike for free it's just a 15 min ride away. Breakfast was a really good and there was everything you need to have a good start in the day. The only negative thing is the food is a little bit expensive for what you get. I would recommend to make the portions bigger (especially for the pool restaurant) so that the price is justified. If we could have stayed longer we would have. But unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and we had to get our flight in Hanoi. It was a pleasure to stay there and we can definitely recommend this beautiful hotel with its great staff. Thank you again that we had such a great time.

I was not disappointed on staying at this hotel (pronounced as 4 Hoi) and had a pleasant surprise. Pho Hoi Riverside Resort is located on Cam Nam Island on the main river just beside the bridge from the old town. It offers a great unobstructed view of the river and fishing boats from their 3rd storey room balcony, panning from the bridge to the east end of the old town. The all wooden big balcony is nicely furnished with a table and chair for 3 seating. It has a colonial style setting with a well-maintained garden surrounding, fish ponds and a sparkling swimming pool. I was given a free upgrade from their superior room to a villa room on the 3rd storey. The room facing the river is quiet, has a woody setting, and in the morning I was pleasantly awoken by birds chirping around the garden. This hotel must have been spruced up after receiving poor reviews on its building condition. It is just a 5 minute walk to town from this hotel, across the Cam Nam bridge, to the town's main market. Another natural novelty is a push-cart sugarcane juice stall just across the bridge at the 1st cross road junction beside the market, every time I crosses this bridge I would buy 2 cups of freshly squeezed ice-cold sugarcane juice to quench my thirst under the hot weather. Buffet breakfast served was good and plentiful. All staffs are friendly and smiling, especially Truyen (pronounced as Twig) who gave me a thorough introduction to Hoi An with a free map; she even helped me when my tour bus did not show up, thank you Truyen. Phu is also friendly and eager to provide information on the town. I will choose this hotel again should I be in Hoi An. The only faults I found in my room are that the rain-shower mixer does not mix the hot and cold water, it only does either all hot or all cold; the bathroom has no hanger for towel and the Wi-Fi is weak on the higher floors.

I would say the stay at Little Hoi An was one of the best throughout our whole Vietnam trip, well maybe even better than any we had in Singapore. They had the best customer service, which me and my bf were really happy with. We were greeted with smiles and lots of useful information when we first checked in. All the staffs were really friendly and smiley, especially Hienn and Susan. The both of them were really helpful and went the extra miles to answer all of our needs, that really brightened our 3 nights stay there :) We had the deluxe room, though the view ain't that good, we thought that the room has a simple yet elegant decor. We were so satisfied with the room that we actually extended one more night to stay in Hoi An. The breakfast spread is not that large but definitely sufficient and really delicious. There's always staffs around to serve either bread, vietnamese crepe or iced coffee. Once again, we were overwhelmed by the awesome service rendered, really way better than what a typical 4 star hotel will offer. Lastly, the location is really awesome we thought, as we can always spend the evening walking from the romantic ancient town to our hotel. We enjoyed being near the locals, and yet able to enjoy the quiet moments with each other. Definitely going back to this hotel if we visit Hoi An in the future. Highly recommended!

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was huge, super clean, and had an amazing view of the pool and river. We had a good size balcony with comfortable chairs and a little table. Breakfast was included and we always left full! The best part is the staff!! We call them our Hoi An family. Flower, first greeted us and took care of every little thing we needed and always with a bright smile and a sweet laugh. And Lily, was always a delight, inquiring about our plans to see if she could help with bookings or just help make suggestions . The hotel is just outside the center of town, which we preferred, and they provided us with bicycles free of charge everyday. A quick 10 minute bike ride and we were in the middle of everything. 20 min in the opposite direction, we were at the beach. We highly recommend this hotel. Be good to our Hoi An family! We miss you guys!!
