Saxony hotels & accommodations

The hotel has the best location in Dresden!!! The Front Desk staff were not as friendly and were eager to make sure the Concierge was the one giving you the touristy information because it was not their job. The room was great, but it had a lot of big furniture for a small space. We were there for one day, so the location was the thing that could not be beat!!!!!

we had a spacious room looking out at die frauenkirche and we were close to all the old town sights, so the location was excellent. the bathroom was also spacious and well equipped. the staff were friendly and helpful and we were able to check in early. breakfast was excellent, although not cheap. the hilton has a cheaper option for breakfast in the cafe on the corner,...

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. It's staff are professional, the quality of fittings excellent and price is fair. The rooms are beautiful and the Wi-Fi actually works as advertised - that's a real surprise. Best value hotel in Germany so far

In my frequent visits to hotels, I have never had such an awful cup of tea in my room! It said Ronnefeldt ASSAM - Irish breakfast Black tea but it was terribly weak and had almost no flavour and the tiniest bit of milk turned it pale cream colour because it had so little colour of its own, even when it had been soaking for 5 minutes. Please write and tell them for som...

The studio apartment was really great, very clean and with all the facilities in good condition. The hotel staff was very nice and helped us with maps and details of trams to take to the places we wanted to visit. The hotel was visible from the train station so had no problem in locating it. We were able to visit most of the places we wanted to see by foot. Enjoyed the...

Pullman Dresden is only a 3 minute walk from Dresden Hbf. It is situated at one end of a main shopping/eatery boulevard which extends all the way to the Old Town. It is about 4-5 tram stops away from the Old Town, and about 6-8 tram stops away from the area across the river (where the famous milk shop is) but it is all within quick and easy reach as there is a tram...

I was told i needed to purchase sheets for $3.50 euro and i informed staff that i wasn't told of that and it wasn't on the website. I showed them a printout of my confirmation and was told i booked on a secondary website that doesn't have all the correct information. Now that is not my problem but the hostels problem because they provide their information to other web...

Hotel is located at a very convenient location. Near to train and bus station and walking distance to the city area. Good place for shopping too. As for the staff, it took a long time for check in and the lady serving us was impatient. She did not have us receipt for the city tax charges and forgot to key in payment made to a room (we booked 3). I hope she can be mor...

The AandO Dresden Hauptbahnhof Hotel/Hostel in Dresden is a happy and efficiently run and well-organized business. It is located in a completely and successfully re-cycled office block. Everything is very functional and security has been given a high priority. Rooms are small, but well-appointed. The place is great value for money, particularly since it is located ...

This is an awesome hostel. Location in centre of town easy to get everywhere, fairly new, super friendly n helpful staff, run as a proper hostel with great kitchen and eating area, cheap breakfast and a deposit (refundable) for bedding towels etc. Highly recommend and the best I have stayed in in Germany.

After extensive travelling through Saxony we were lucky enough to be able to spend a couple of days in Dresden, but had made no prior booking. We sound this at a very reasonable price and we’re delighted with the great location, and clean , spacious, efficient accommodation. We were sad we could only spend one night, due to prior bookings in Berlin. Yes we would defini...

The hotel is located a little bit far from the Leipzig Hauptbahnhof, yet it is near the major buildings and streets, just on the opposite side to the Thomaskirche in which Bach lied in peace. The Bach Museum is just on the opposite to the Thomaskirche. I would recommend my friends to stay there if they go to Leipzig.

I loved the hotel, facilities, staff and location - all were excellent. My only complaint was that as a UK based traveller no longer used to the smell of cigarette smoke in my room it did sadly smell of tobacco smoke. I confess that I hadn't asked for a non smoking room or if one was available and as an ex smoker I cant really complain too much because of this.

Good hotel at a very good price. Excellent breakfast. Very nice and polite staff, speaking very good english. Private parking4.6euro/day.If you are by car,you can arrive in 10 minutes in the city center, where you can find a parking, even with 5euro/day. It is a quiet place. I would recommend this hotel(I would stay again in this hotel )

I can't get over what a great value for the money this hotel is. The location is literally right across the street from the station and just steps away from Dresden's main shopping drag. The rooms are very nice, clean, and well-appointed. (The only thing I could wish for was a kettle/coffee options, but that's minimal.) The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly, ...

I have used the ibis chain in the UK quite a bit and compared to them this Ibis in Dresden was less satisfactory. primarily because it didn't offer free Wi-Fi. Apparently there was free Wi-Fi from the lobby for 1 hour but the receptionist didn't explain it properly and I logged-on to a different system (none of the systems was called Ibis or anything obvious so I went ...

The room was very spacious and had a fridge but no kettle, but as it was 28 degrees this worked very well. I had a balcony which has also lovely = rising sun with Leipzig's beautiful architecture. Very clean. Staff were helpful and tolerated my poor German and couldn't have been more helpful. My mistake for not staying longer. I'd go back.

A very large room with a large bathroom for a budget price. All facilities are available except a fridge. The price was "fully paid" according to the confirmation mail by Agoda. Nonetheless, a city tax of one euro per day was required by the receptionist at the check-out without any receipt to have been paid. The confirmation email by Agoda is in Bulgarian, so it is ...

The hotel is at good location in Dresden, almost all the famous spots in the downtown is within the walking distance, especially that it only takes about 5 mins walk to roam around the beautiful riverside. There are plenty paitings/art within the hotel and the room. Free wireless is available on a per day request basis to the front desk. The hotel staff is kind and war...

Nice modern hotel close to main train station witn friendly staff, good breakfast and bar food. Travel ticket to use on public transportation very handy. Room air conditioning appeared to struggle and room was a bit was warm overnight. Overall though a good stay and great value.

I wasn’t quite sure if the town or this hostel in this area was the right spot but I was completely wrong. I was there for one full day and night and they made me feel like I have been there for months. They make you feel super welcome to their home, offer the best advice (which is to avoid the city center), everything is super clean, curtains on the beds! For young pe...

First appearances are deceiving. It looks ramshackle untidy messy. But hostel has character and it grows on you. Other guests extremely friendly helpful. Seems like a big family. I loved my stay here and would use them again. My only complaint is distance from old city. But tram service is good. The staff is the best I have encountered in ten weeks of staying at hostel...

got good help in the hotel but the free wi-fi didn't reach our room so had to leave the room to be able to use internet on my laptop. didn't try the food so cant say. but they had a hairdryer that we borrowed. there is a shortcut to the tram just outside the hotel but apparently its private..looks like just normal park.

Good hotel at a very good price. Excellent breakfast. Very nice and polite staff, speaking very good english. Room was big and clean. About five minutes walk to tram station that took us to the city (which took about 25 minutes) next to the hotel there was Kaufland supermarket. We had a car and parked on the streets near to the hotel (1 min walk) so no reason to pay 9€ per day to park at hotel

We booked very spontaneously and the owner was surprised that we were there. We still got a room and had a warm welcome. The room was clean and quiet, only a bin was missing in the bedroom, there was one in the bathroom though. Breakfast was good and had a everything we could ask for. Thanks for the nice stay

Well, Hotel Markgraf Leipzig is located at the town and it is surrounded by many restaurants. The restaurants around are mostly in diffrent styles, such as Vietnamese cuisine, Chinese cuisine and so on. The staffs are very nice and you may enjoy the peaceful night over there. The breakfast is nice as well,as you can enjoy nice breakfast, which is included in the room f...

The good: Nice staff, cheap breakfast, large rooms, rooms serviced promptly, even if do-not-disturb is hung out when they are doing neighboring rooms. The Messe is about 15 minutes walk with multiple tram and S-Bahn stops reachable in 10-15mins. The hotel is showing its age, though. Carpets ought to be replaced and the room decor could be freshened up. No minibar faci...

Is very clean and safe. Good area quite at night. Decorated in a very unique way. Staffs are all very helpful, speak good english. Very close to tram station, walking distance to city centre. If u have a big baggage, teksi to train station is around €10.

All is very good, only the stuff is not so polite and there was issue with computer in lobby. There is computer and printer, we had to print out some papers and as it didnt work we asked help from the staff, but in the conversation came out that they dont know either how it works and it is not "their computer"?! quite surprising.

We booked Superior room with one large bed. Even after presenting the booking voucher to the employee at the reception desk, he tried to tell that "large bed was just our wish". Then he said that if we came earlier, he could give us an appropriate room, but now all of them are taken. We had to stay in a very small room with batter walls. The room itself was good, but ...

The apartments are very nice and in a quite setting. The courtyard garden had a small playground that our kids enjoyed very much. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming. We forgot something in the apartment, which was sent to us by mail! Overall a fantastic service, and we will definitely visit again.

Unfortunately, I had the worst hotel experience in Hotel Vienna House Easy Leipzig... Although it was autumn, it was really cold day but they said they can't turn on the heating system because it's not winter... and I could not sleep at all due to cold air for two days... really not at all and I asked them please let me sleep and finally they started heating system on ...

We got a room on the second floor. Standard room I suppose. The view was right into the next to the ajacent building. The good part, it was quiet until a truck or two started work. Beds were too hard, small pillows, but sheets were very comfortable. Room was very standard. So adding the cost of breakfast, we could have had a five star hotel right in the center. Breakf...

The day before we arrived in Dresden we were emailed excellent directions from the hotel. They explained, very clearly, how to get from the train station to the hotel using public transport. A short train ride and then a tram which drops you off very near the hotel. The check-in was smooth and we were assigned a room on the ground floor which measured up to the Bes...

It's one of the best hotels we've ever seen. The room was very spacious, modern and cosy at the same time. Everything inside the hotel is new and well maintained. It's situated just inside the historical center, so you don't need any time at all to get to all the sightseeing places. Hotel has its own underground parking, though rather expensive - 23 euro per day.
