Selangor hotels & places to stay

I just stayed there for one night. The room is very spacious and nice Shah Alam view. I was given two sets of key where very seldom you will find it in any other hotel. The staffs are very nice and helpful with great smile. The stadium is within walking distance and same as Giant hypermarket and restaurants. The best thing about the location is you can get the free Selangor bus to KTM komuter right opposite the hotel. Nothing is perfect....the only thing that Acappella needs to really look into is the cleanliness of the mugs and kettle. There are stains in the kettle and mugs. Overall...Acappella is a nice hotel to stay especially for families and groups.

Pro - Nice Room View - Best Water Theme Park - Friendly Staff - Different Buffet Menu Everyday Cons - Located remotely at Morib, closest restaurant to eat is 10km away..Petrol pump 15km.. - Got flies.. and unscented smell came from chicken food mill infront of hotel. - Fences at balcony not suitable for children. Overall - Beneath toilet seat dirty. - Not get what we requested -a simple deco on bed. Even it stated on our booking.

booked thru agoda. cute cozy hotel. staff were great, easy and fast check in (weekday maybe) and fast check out too (saturday). lobby smell nice, healthy cooling refreshment and lollipop were provided! booked two suite rooms. room 1402 perfectly clean, no issue but our other room which is 802 looked like the chambermaid cleanes it halfway as dustbin were full with trash, floor not vacum. On our second day there, informed chambermaid and they vaccum the room. At the lobby there is a kiosk selling pastries and sandwiches with affordable price. Bought them twice during our stay there. But the most cute part was there's a corner where guest with kids could rent a fighting fish to keep them entertain! Rental fee very affordable. On our floor, infront of the lift, apples were provided for guests. I city itself was fun with full of games to play and enjoy. Since the hotel is in the I city itself, we enjoyed our nite walk thru the light garden. So beautiful and romantic. The night scenery fr both of our room facing the theme park, ferris wheel were to die for. love it! Best of all there's a food ctr and food bazaar selling durians just 5minutes away fr the hotel. Our tom yam and fried meals were so delicious. There's also Giant and other food ctrs 7mins walk fr the hotel. Overall we loved our stay at this hotel and shah alam itself. People were so friendly with us. We will definetely return back to this hotel. hopefully next year! Thanks Best Western I City for making our stay enjoyable and memorable! Love you guys!

My first time staying here and I was so in love with this hotel! I booked a Deluxe Twin room. The room was clean and very spacious. My first reaction when entering the room was like 'oh where is the bed?'. Felt like staying in a 5 star hotel :D Will definitely come here again and recommend to others! Keep it up guys! Geno hotel has been my first choice hotel while I am visiting Selangor. Firstly, because of the price, they used to do RM188 nett for a night, which it is impossible for you to find from other places with a 4-star standard hotel. They have opened air pool and next to the pool will be a small size fitness room. I kinda like it, it is considered good and I couldn't ask much.

A bit disappointed with location. Well I knew I-CITY is within SEKSYEN 7, Shah Alam. BUT how do I know Hotel De Art has TWO location?! One at i-city, another one at jalan kristal seksyen 7. But seriously two locations/outlets at one area (which is seksyen 7)? If people from local area might know this, but how about people from other states? Why am I so stressing about the location? Because the one at Seksyen 7 is far more comfortable, surrounded by market and restaurants. BUT the one at i-city got nothing. You have to drive out to find food. SO, if I know the room that I booked was at i-city (which is no stores out there for my mom to go while waiting for my meeting), I would definitely not booking the room. Agoda/hotel team should try to improve some ways to avoid confusion. When I search the hotel, it suggested the one at seksyen 7. But still, confusion also arise because i-city also in seksyen 7 (by address) Overall, I like Hotel De Art! I love the concept. Staff are nice!

It was very comfortable. The service was very fast. The hotel also values privacy. You get value for your money. It is centrally located. It has a pool and other physical fitness facilities. I really liked the Japanese food served at the pool area. It has very good conference facilities. Many restrooms all around. They are cleaned regularly. The hotel is a very pleasant place to stay in but the wifi is limited only to the lobby area and does not ach the rooms. That was the biggest disappointment since it was advertised as having free wifi. It is a lot of hassle to go down to the lobby just to get in touch with your family. I hope that they would be more transparent in their advertisement. The best thing about the hotel that I really appreciate is the availability of complimentary water at any time of the day. The one thing that they should improve on is wifi connection. They also failed to provide an adaptor for foreign travelers. They should always anticipate this problem.

It's my first time stay here. I book this hotel for my brother since he has to stay overnight in hospital nearby for our family emergency case. So he could get sleep, shower, change clothes, prayers and refreshed. I reach there early and I called the hotel and request for early check-in, and they allow. The room is huge, very clean, and very comfortable. Thanks to the hotel they are very helpful. I and my family appreciate.

I spend 2 nights at this hotel. In term of service...wow excellent. But the internet connection was too bad since i got room on the other building (which is under renovation). Who likes to enjoy food, kopitiam gave the best food for you. You can choose from local to western food, and it was very delicious with affordable price. I like steak and ice blended drinks (mocha or choc). Both drink better than other exclusive restaurants. My family enjoy the food very much. Dont worry about young kids, i have 4 kids (aged below 5 years old) and i still can get food that suit there throat. They like it very much. Waiting time only 5 min!!!! for your drink and food even there are full seat. I will come again and again to Hotel De Art.

Stay there during CNY weekday which is not a public holiday, price was below RM300 for a 4 star hotel, which is quite cheap. Had a little issue when checking in, wanted to early check in but waited for quite a while until I approach the counter and found out the operator was too "busy" to call me. Then it was the door card which is not functioning, I had to walk forth and back then end up they had to fix the door lock, when going out we found out the lock again is not functioning, the staff had to give it a few knocking then miracle, it start working again. Overall the view is good, air is fresh, breakfast was ok, but it's a bit scary when you are driving back to the hotel at night, it's a dark road at night. They even offer a couple other facilities like ping pong, paint ball, pool, karaoke, though we dint managed to tried out as it's only a short trip. Lastly, no extra plug under the TV and no extension provided so I was unable to power my TV box.

I knew this hotel for a long time ago. Because everytime I passed by the highway I can see the signboard so high on top. That day when Im looking for a nearest hotel to stay, I find out this hotel is the best. So decided to check-in. And Whaoooo, customer service is friendly, and the room is so amazing ! I like the design of the bed 😇 The next following month planning to check-in once, but fully, so sad...

If you want to get away from a busy life, go to this place. It's back to nature. No wifi/internet in rooms so you have no choice but to interact with people (that's the best part!).The place is clean & well maintained. Lots of activities available (wall climbing, flying fox, fish feeding, basketball, etc) all for a reasonable rate. Don't miss out the hot spring within the compound, the temperature is just right to relax yourself (open even during the night). Breakfast was ok not many choices but acceptable. Dinner & lunch can be bought at the restaurant itself. The staffs are very helpful. Don't forget to bring an insect repellent!

Me and my friends were having great time there, location wise is the best which is next to highway and air-bridge to Central I-City Mall. Sadly don't have the chance to enjoy the swimming pool but surely to return again. The park was creatively landscaped with themes. Clean house, clean rooms. Staff were helpful by telling me the exact place to park my car for easy access to our apartment eventho the car park area is quite confusing, you need to be careful tho.

It was a bit difficult to find how to get in to this facility. Also confusion when booking Grab as to where to pick us up. Needs to be some improvement in this area. The attendant was responsive to communication, but the checking in process was a bit quirky. We asked for a high view and were given a place on the 35th floor, amazing view of the city. Quiet, patio doors open if you like a breeze. Bed super large and comfortable. Love seat had a stain that needed cleaning. All facilities worked well. Checkout was straightforward.

Pros: excellent location just next to Setia City Mall (less than 5mins walk). Nice place for shopping and has a variety of food there. Easy to get grab services, has a Malay restaurant and mynews.com just below the apartment complex. Need security card to assess the lifts and security guard is around at lobby. Room is very spacious and neat and clean (my colleague who booked fr elsewhere got some roaches welcoming her hence I would recommend to book fr all bess as it is well maintained ) Cons: no WiFi. No one at reception for enquiries most of the time. Toilet can be quite smelly at times despite presence of air freshener. Some distance away fr komuter station *this is actually not a hotel but rather a homestay maintained by all bess services. Rather misleading and difficult to direct taxi driver fr airport to “all bess hotel” for the first time because there’s no such signage. Use “trefoil@setia city” instead or ask them to go to north entrance of Setia City Mall
