South Moravian hotels & accommodations

Very good hotel. We stay in Brno once or twice a year ( for 40 yrs plus)and this was our first booking at this hotel. Although this is at the edge of town it is not a problem. Our only problem was with the door lock to our room. Don't stay in 717! WE were locked out for about an hour. However, this was unfortunate and does not denigrate the good experience! WE are boo...

I decided to book room in Barcelo. I have arrived around 11:30am however it was to early as staff advised me there are no rooms available and check in starts at 3pm. Staff was nice but seems to be little bit surprised (not sure if that was positive or negative) that I speak local language. Room was very nice, spacious, comfortable, clean. Bed was not so soft and I ...

The hotel was excellent, room and bathroom large, clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped - fridge, safe, tv, coffee/tea machine, chair etc Breakfast was amazing, so much choice - they could not have offered anything more! Large dining area and option to have breakfast out on the terrace

Cheap mini bar Restaurant wasnt open so the hotel put a free taxi on to take guests to the city centre/other restaurants outside the hotel. Also pur a takeaway menu in the room which they ordered for you and called when it arrived. I dont know of any other hotels that would do this. Very clean and homely

The staff is very friendly, enthusiastics careful and supportive as I came to Brno so late and the receptionist worked until 8pm, but she sent me an email to inform about it and asked the security to transfer the key to me. The location of apartment is in the city centre and easy to walk to mall and station. Especially, the room is perfect with cleaniness and decorati...

We have had a romantic weekend with lots fo dinning and very rich breakfast. Brno is overall considered as poor hotel quality for high price. Ricc is a realy a different experience. Some people realy tried their best to provide the atmosphere. On the other hand, for that price you would expect that staff act accordingly, but id does not. Sometimes they event dont say ...

Nice hotel, clean, great buffet breakfast, spotless bathroom, good lighting. What definitely was missing was a ceiling or table fan. We were there in mid August for 5 nights and it was warm. For tourists, its a bit far to the closest metro stop which is 850 metres away. Closest shop/utility /convenience store, Albert supermarket is 1100 m away, 15-18 minutes by walk. V...

To tell the truth, I like more hotels with modern design, but I decide to order this one, because it is so close to city center and also close to parking place opposite. Ok, the design of the hotel/room is old, looks like from the 80th, but I respect it - for some people this is the ideal. But the location and the price is soooo good, that to worth for it to stay here....

We had a good stay here. The guy at the reception was very nice and despite of not being able to speak perfect English, it was no issue to get an extra pillow and to do our laundry. The room was clean and decent. One thing which may trouble some late sleepers is that the window on the roof, even with the yellow shade pulled out, let some sunlight through and make the r...

Hotel was clean, warm and more than adequate for my purposes. For what I paid it was very good value especially as it included in room internet, wi-fi etc plus a garage/car park with security entry. The down-side was a not particularly helpful receptionist when I arrived although this might have been due to language challenges but the receptionist on duty when I left w...

It was all good. Nothing to complain about here at all. Easy parking, easy check in, decent breakfast, good wifi. All absolutely fine. It's a little way out of town, but as an overnight stop on a long road trip, that's what we wanted. There is a big Tesco and shopping centre on the same road, all super easy. Would stay again, would recommend.

Very good standard city business hotel. How to get there is clearly written in the website. Convinient by tram. Very good breakfast with best castle view on the hill. Fast Wifi. Good pub and restaurant next to the hotel. What I like the most is the service mind of the hotel staff. I asked for iron and ironing board by email. When I arrived I found that they were alread...

The hotel had a nice room with a bathroom a little on the small side. The staff was very friendly and the made to order free breakfast was very nice. The only problem with the hotel is the location. It was quite far from the city center, about a 20 minute walk. We usually don't mind a long walk if; however, the hotel is in a pretty crappy neighborhood and the entir...

On the second night we found there was no hot water supply, there was no one present in the hotel, you were on your own. Made an international call (which means cost to customer) to get help, sorry the boiler tripped and you got to do with cold shower or no shower. We ended up doing a quick cold shower, luckily it was 20 deg C it was still bearable. Hotel staff made no...
Cheap places to stay in South Moravian

We've been driving from Austria back to Brno and although we were late the person from the apartment came to meet us and gave us keys. Staying was great (a bit noisy as the trams start running at 5am) PS Agoda should remove "Food" option for rating as most of the apartments I stayed in did not have an option "breackfast included")

This apartment is strategically located nearby the city. The staff are friendly and professional and very helpful to ensure guests' comfort during their stay. We enjoyed the lakes and vineyard views from the swimming pool. Everyone at Palavska Riviera was so friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. I would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot among all the castles in the south in the Czech Republic.

It is always a great stay here with a very friendly staff delicious food and comfortable rooms. It is also very enjoyable to be able to go to the zoo for free after a day of work. Definitely would recommend staying here always when you are in the area

We were among the few Americans who explore this part of the country and we highly recommend the hotel and the area. The hotel’s ample parking lot (a rarity), excellent breakfast and efficient air conditioning were everything we needed - and staff who spoke some English were very helpful.

Our second trip to Brno, Fairhotel was a perfect choice. The rooms and hotel in modern, bright, light and spacious. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The property is located on a high floor and without elevators it was very difficult with or without luggage, but most especially with luggage. Don't stay here if you are physically challenged, have heavy luggage, have children, or if you get tired climbing two or more flights of stairs.
