This is a fancy hotel in Trang, probably the nicest hotel in Trang. The room was fantastic, everything you would expect from a fancy hotel. It is not in the town center so you will need to hire a local taxi in order to get to places if you don't have a car. Good breakfast buffet

Our second stay as we enjoyed our first. On this occasion we stayed in both the best room for views (room 3) and also spent one night in the deluxe beach front tent. Once again the staff were excellent especially the team running the bar who are all very good at their jobs. The tent is very large in size and affords views directly on to the beach, however due to its lo...

This is a lovely spot on Koh Libong. It's easy enough to get to from Trang airport. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, the gardens nice and relaxing. The food is excellent, especially the breakfast. The surroundings are very natural and unspoiled: we saw eagles just by the resort, dugongs, dolphins and sailfish from the boat trips. The long-tail boat trips are ...

We loved our stay at Reef Resort and after seeing all the accommodation on the island, were very happy we chose this one. We were here before heading to Koh Lanta. Hop Inn is really value for money if you are looking for a place to rest. The mattress is so comfortable that you would wish not to get out of it. Everything works well here. The complimentary coffee from 6.00 to 11.00 am add a credit to its facilities. Robinson's superstore is just opposite of the hotel. You can get anything...

The location was very good, between the village and Charlie beach. The hotel has bicycles that you can borrow, so it was quick and easy to reach both the village and Charlie beach. The entire hotel is sparsely furnished, but beautifully appointed. I reserved a superior room.(M9) My room had large windows that faced out to the street, but they didn't allow much of the street noise into the room. This room was also closest to the balcony; perfect for people watching. Everything was great until I was preparing for bed and found ants on the duvet and...

A good waypoint to stop and collect yourself if you're not in a hurry to get to another part of Thailand. It's really hotel utilised mostly by Thai tourists, but don't let that dissuade you. The rooms have a personal router, the net speed is reasonable, it's capped at about 20Mbps, even though the hotel is fitted out with fibre, you don't necessarily benefit from th...

We needed a place that would be close to my wife's relative and we picked the Thumrin Hotel. It is the little sister of the much larger Thumrin Hotel which is not in the most central location. The hotel was old but very clean. It had a lift which made it easy to get to our 6th floor room. The only issue was no restaurant on the premises but that was acceptable sinc...

We booked 2 different rooms for NYE, which was across the whole resort far away.as family we wanted to be close to each other so we changed it on arrival to for 2 beach front cottages for the same price as better equiped cement house.but we been next to each other.this decision was good coz during a day was area near the swimming pool noisy and our part was really quie...

Great rock climbing on site (bring your gear, ideally). Tents and beds are clean and comfortable. Staff is excellent, as well as food! Overall, pricey by Thai standards, but well worth it if you're looking for that secluded island to yourselves (more or less- there were only 4 other couples there during our stay.) Make sure to catch the bus that leaves Sri Trang hotel ...

Love this place. Conveniently located right across from the train station and travel agencies. An older building that’s been renovated nicely. Simple, yet stylish without crossing over into the realm of overwrought hipster boutique that so many places in Thailand have become. The stained wood doors and thunderstorm-blue wall paint complement each other really well. The...

a large well-design room with huge outdoor bath tub (but u must bring bath foam by urseft) There is no swimming pool Foods are tasty at reasonable price at "play-yuan restaurant" In this visit I have a trouble with booking problem but hotel staffs and agoda staff also are really helpful and nice, thank you I recommended this resort if you plan to stay at Pak-meng be...

Clean hotel with firm beds and perfect for a day or two in Trang. Don't expect a resort or breakfast in the morning. What you can expect is efficient check-in and check-out, a very clean room, a firm bed and restful sleep. Don't be put off by the location as it is behind the train station. There are only 2 passenger trains a day which arrive and depart during waking ho...

We had a nice stay at Koh Mook Nature Beach Resort with our 10 month baby. She and us enjoyed the sincerely friendly people working at this place - happy time every day. Room was truly mosquito proof so no need for net. They don't have baby cot but put extra bed with protection around it. Don't use the transportation offered by resort manager. It's overpriced and lo...

The Queen Trang Hotel has a good location in Trang and is easily reached by car or via foot from the Railway Station. Cheap places to stay in Trang Province

Great place to stay in Trang. Room was spacious and very clean. Convenient location to walk everywhere you need . I’d recommend spending a few nights in Trang (not just to pass thru to the islands), as it’s a great little town! Staff was so friendly and helpful. Bathroom was downstairs which was a bit inconvenient, but it was always really clean.

You can take bus (blue one) from Trang bus terminal to the hostel and vice versa, the bus will stop at the corner of Phatthalung road and Udormlap road, so you need to walk a bit to Nokhook house. The dorm and overall hostel are clean, however some small corners and the window in front of the sink in the kitchen look dirty. They offer 4 island hopping tour w price...

First of all, location is perfect! We took a sleeper train from Bang kok to Trang, This hostel is located in just 50m from thw Trang railway station. There are lot of travel agency around Trang station and morning market just behind the hostel so you can enjoy cheap tasty thai style street food in the morning. There is Seven-eleven 20m from the hostel. Our room had a ...

We had a great stay here. The location is really close to the pier, restaurants, and convenience stores but a bit of a walk from Charlie Beach. The bungalow was basic but very clean. We we're very happy with it, planned to stay there 2 nights and would have loved to stay there longer.

You pay for what you get here. Rooms are clean - fresh sheets, bins new, clean towels, as you would hope. But also expect mosquito nets with holes, some bad smells, dusty rooms and insects etc. But hey you don't want to deal with nature, don't stay in a Bamboo Hut and be prepared to pay more than 15 per night! The location is up a bit in the hills, its near the 'coo...

- Staffs are very nice and helpful and always gave information to us. - Location is quite good, can walk from train station. Opposite from famous Roti, local food and drinks so you could have many choices to eat. A bit noisy from vehicles as near the road until late midnight but still good option to choose. - ABF is simple.

The house owner family are really kind. Living here for 3days was a very memorable experience. The room is artistic and creative with every detail of the design, and sure it’s clean and comfortable too. Besides ,the house owner invited me to join their family BBQ party, it’s really nice to meet other friends and talk to them. On my leaving day, I missed the boat I book...

We had a wonderful stay at Mookies Bungalows and highly recommend their place for comfort, value and proximity to Charlie Beach (west side of island). Sivalai (on the east side of island) is beautiful but dominated by the resort. Charlie is large, offers kayaking and has several beach restaurants. Plus, it’s the right side for sunset and only 10 minutes from Mookies. N...

I did find a place to rent a scooter which allowed this trip to be rescued. Hopeless wanting to walk anywhere interesting in the vicinity of the hotel. Had my laundry done here at a greater cost than I usually pay in Bangkok. No sign of any independent laundry places anywhere near the hotel.

Great, relaxed family-run place. Don't visit Ko Sukorn if you're after luxury or picture postcard beaches, the island has neither. However, it completely charmed us - friendly, extremely laid back, with plenty of natural beauty (cycle round the island!). The rooms at Andaman looked like something out of the 1960s but were clean and all have sea views (and occasional li...

Located across from a primary school on a quiet residential street, U Sabay was fantastic. Best highlight was that it happened to be located next to a small local gym. Not much to do in Trang and the gym killed some time when not at the night market or island hopping. New hotel as construction was ongoing. Cheap and would stay again but Trang was quite boring after a f...

We loved this hotel. It was clean, comfortable (Air conditioning was a nice change for us!!), and affordable. There is filtered water available (huge bonus) and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They even drove us to the train station for free so we could catch our train to Chumphon. When in Trang again, we will definitely be staying here.

Pros : This is the cheapest and best for the budget room that you can find in Trang City. 400 m from Trang Railway station ,makes it convenient to move around.Room is very spacious with private bathroom and aircon and the room price is 430 THB. Con: Nothing

Sea Breeze offers comfy and clean rooms in a lovely garden at few meters from the beach with a perfect spot for sunset. The place also has a restaurant (best pizzas for us in Thailand and great local grilled seafood ) and a firecamp where local people and tourists can meet easily. If you're lucky you can even enjoy live music shows but never too late so it's not bother...

I have been through Pak Meng Beach on the way to the Trang Islands, but I had never stayed before. The Ya Talay Resort a classy newer addition here. Cultural experiences in Trang are equally compelling. The province is home to several historical sites, including the iconic Trang Clock Tower and the beautiful Wat Tantayapirom Phra Aram Luang. These landmarks not only showcase the architectural beauty of the region but also provide insight into its rich history and traditions. Visitors can immerse themselves in the local culture by participating in festivals and events that celebrate Trang's heritage, such as the Trang Vegetarian Festival, which features colorful parades and delicious vegetarian food.
Food lovers will find Trang to be a culinary paradise. The local cuisine is a delightful fusion of flavors influenced by Malay and Chinese traditions.
