Stayed with my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary and asked for a quiet room on a high floor. Not sure if the room was in a quiet area as it was just in front of the lift lobby but was pleased nonetheless, as we got a street view room. Nice gesture by the hotel staff to prepare a pair of towel swans and a little card on the bed. Everything was clean and smelled good. What you see in photos, it what you get. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and beautiful industrial decor. Really suits our taste. Aircon was nice and cool, and the room stayed cool even after we were out the whole day with the aircon switched off. Hotel staff were great with just the right amount of courtesy and alertness. Breakfast staff were always polite and alert. Lunch/dinner at Bica & Co. was a hit and miss. Lunch was great and the service staff was good and fast. The nachos - DELICIOUS. We had steak for dinner on our first night and it was subpar. Asked for 1 medium and 1 medium rare steak but receive 1 medium well and 1 well done steak instead - when questioned, staff said it was his mistake for writing the order wrong and he also later said that they do not serve anything under medium doneness (still doesn't explain why we got medium well and well done). Ordered dessert as well but when asked to serve it, staff said that the order wasn't taken. We left the restaurant feeling very upset as we expected it to be good since we had a wonderful lunch earlier that day. We should have eaten at Menate or Tony Roma's as initially planned, but oh well..Bica & Co. is not a steakhouse anyway. Still, doesn't negate the face that staff didn't take down our order properly. Breakfast choices were not huge but more than sufficient for us who love nasi lemak bungkus, porridge, eggs, and croissant. We were very pleased with the breakfast and always left with full and satisfied tummies - a great start to our days. Overall, a wonderful and affordable stay. Will surely come back again!

Spacious Comfort for the Family at Hotel Rosa Malacca”
We recently stayed in the family suite at Hotel Rosa Malacca from June 12th to 14th, and it was a delightful experience. The room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our family of eight, and we found it to be clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was large, although with only one toilet, we had to coordinate a bit. The breakfast offered was delicious, and the gym was tidy, complete with towels and water. The hotel’s location is excellent, surrounded by a variety of restaurants. Overall, a great stay for a large family group

Almost a very chic hotel”
Location is good. It is a short walk to Melaka Raya where a lot of good restaurants and conveniences are. A lot of available car park space which I like. Grab is also very convenient with a nice drop and pick up point. Outwardly the hotel looks chic. Almost like a nice boutique hotel in New York. The reception is also good as it is almost like part of Bica cafe which is cool and a great place to chill. Looks welcoming in the day and even better at night. Staff are polite and professional and eager to please. Sometimes a bit too much. For example, I asked for an additional key card and he asked if I was so and so (which I obviously was not). Perhaps, they should ask us to inform them who are we instead. I guess the staff was new. Small matter. Overall, I m happy with the first impression. I took the Deluxe King and the room was nice and spacious but for some reason it doesn't have any bedroom slippers. This is fine if the floor was fully carpeted (I will come back to this). However, because it isn't, you have to work doubly hard to keep the floor clean from dust. Unfortunately, I can feel the dust on my feet especially after shower. Also, because it is not fully carpeted, sound travels. So, I can hear other room doors opening and closing and conversations in the corridor when I was trying to sleep. I would suggest for more rugs to be used in the room. Lastly, for some reason, the toilet has a strong sewerage smell. Fortunately, it doesn't get into the room but still no less pleasant when you have to use the toilet. I like the concrete finishing of the hotel but this is no excuse to slack on cleanliness. It just gives off the wrong vibes. To be fair, the bed was excellent and after everyone has gone to their rooms, it is actually pretty quiet. My room faces the courtyard and it is very quiet in the morning. Overall, it is a decent hotel but it can do better and I hope they do because it has so much potential. Will I return? Absolutely! I believe everyone deserve a second chance.
