This hotel has a great location with a stunning view that has been mentioned in many reviews. The friendly and helpful staff have also been mentioned frequently, making it a welcoming stay for guests. I've been going to Sokcho almost every year since 2019, and it’s always a satisfying place. The amenities might be a bit pricey, but I find it acceptable overall. Even in hotels, there are often issues like weak water pressure, inadequate cleaning, or lack of hot water, but I’ve never experienced any of that here! I'm sensitive to changes in sleeping environments and usually have trouble sleeping, but despite being near Rodeo, it's quiet, and I come back well-rested. There’s also the Central Market nearby, with plenty of convenience facilities, and quite a few hidden gem restaurants in the area! I couldn't come last year because I was preparing for my wedding, but this year, there’s also some icebox festival, so there’s more to see, and the third-floor facilities have changed, which is nice since there’s a separate eating area. In the past, it felt a bit awkward since we were often the only ones there... hahaha. However, I think the breakfast menu is quite similar every year, and I wish it could have a bit more variety or fresher options, but considering the price, I think it's not a bad offering. I'm a bit particular, but they are quick to respond to my requests, and I always leave satisfied! * Right across from here is a chicken galbi place that I’ve always had bad luck with, and nearby is a sushi restaurant with clean and delicious food. It's also great for bringing parents along!

I chose this place after seeing a lot of reviews since I was accompanying my parents, and I made a good choice. Right in front of Cheongcho Lake, a famous attraction in Sokcho. ✨ Room View: Half-ocean view, even more stunning than expected! Despite being a half-ocean view room, I was pleasantly surprised to be able to lie in bed and catch the sunrise over the East Sea in the morning. Some other hotel buildings are located to the east, so the direction of the sunrise can vary slightly depending on the season; my visit was on August 24th on the 12th floor. At night, I could enjoy the beautiful night view sparkling from the harbor outside my window until falling asleep in bed. I wasn’t expecting much from the half-ocean view, but it turned out to be very satisfying! ✨ Cleanliness: Clean and comfortable! The room condition was clean, and bedding and bathrooms were well-maintained, which I appreciated. ✨ Staff Attitude: Kindness and attention to detail! During check-in, they carefully explained any questions I had, and when I accidentally took the staff-only elevator with my parents, they responded so kindly that I was grateful it wasn't awkward. ✨ Amenities and Facilities: 1. Breakfast Buffet: I think the cost performance is very good. The pho was especially refreshing and delicious (great for hangovers). The pineapples I love were very sweet and tasty. 2. 3rd Floor Lounge: I liked that there was space to eat various foods bought from the Central Market. I wondered if it would be too hot to eat here during the daytime in August since it's an open space, but when the evening came, the sea breeze blew really refreshingly. 3. Rooftop Observatory: Even if you stay in a room without a view, the advantage is you can go up here anytime to enjoy the scenery. 4. 1st Floor Café: They give a 10% discount coupon when checking in. I used the coupon to buy an Americano. 5. Convenience Store: I bought beer and ice from here to eat while enjoying food in the 3rd floor lounge. Having a convenience store nearby was great to easily buy anything I needed. 6. About a 7 to 10-minute walk to the Central Market and restaurants by the harbor; it’s a quick distance. 7. This was something I was curious about before visiting… Personal hygiene products need to be brought separately. Due to environmental issues these days, disposable items are not provided. We stayed at Sea Cruise Hotel, which is close to Sokcho Central Market and Cheongcho Lake, and I wanted to leave some feedback as our accommodation was satisfying in terms of location, view, and convenience. 🗺️ Location & Accessibility – A distance that is not burdensome for walking with parents The hotel is located right in front of Cheongcho Lake, and the scenery from the room was truly picturesque. Above all, Sokcho Central Market, Abai Village, and Sokcho Beach are within walking distance, making it perfect for leisurely strolls with my parents. It took only about 7-8 minutes to walk to the Central Market, allowing us to explore the market and enjoy the night view in the evening, and in the morning, it was easy to visit nearby cafes while taking a walk. 🛏️ Room & Facilities – Impressive views of the sea and lake! We booked a double room with a view of the lake and sea, and the view of the East Sea and Cheongcho Lake from the window was really amazing. My parents were impressed as soon as they entered the room, exclaiming "Wow~" and sat by the window for a long time just looking at the scenery outside. The room was neatly organized, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable, providing no inconvenience for the elderly. It is close to major tourist attractions in Sokcho and boasts a special location where you can see both Cheongchoho Lake and the sea, so I was satisfied with both the location and the price. The hotel building was clean and tidy, and there was ample parking available, which was very convenient for families traveling by car. During the check-in process, the friendliness of the staff was really impressive. The waiting time was short, and they provided detailed information that we needed. They also kindly recommended nearby restaurants and tourist attractions, which was a great help in planning our trip. The fast check-in and the kindness of the staff made for a very good first impression. Room Condition and Cleanliness The room assigned to us was a standard twin room, and it was clean and very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent, making it perfect for family travelers. All the necessary facilities were well-equipped, and the bed was soft and comfortable, allowing us to fully relax from the fatigue of traveling. My wife also kept expressing her satisfaction, saying the room was very clean and nice. The view from the room was also excellent. The harmony of Cheongchoho Lake and the distant sea visible through the window was truly beautiful, especially during sunrise and sunset when we could enjoy a fantastic landscape. From Korean dishes like seaweed soup, bulgogi, and rolled omelet to western dishes like bacon, sausages, and scrambled eggs, as well as fresh salads and fruits, everything was really diverse and delicious. There were plenty of options that the kids would enjoy, making it an excellent choice for family travelers. In particular, the freshness and taste of the food were at a level that matched that of a hotel restaurant. Being able to start the day with such a rich breakfast every morning significantly increased my satisfaction with the trip. Excellence in Facilities and Services All the staff were very kind, and the parking service and amenities were perfectly equipped, making it convenient. The front desk was open 24 hours, and any requests for amenities or additional needs were handled quickly and accurately. The parking lot was right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to move luggage, and there was plenty of parking space available, so we experienced no inconvenience at all. Common areas like the lobby and hallways were also well-maintained and clean, and overall, the management condition of the hotel was very excellent. Everywhere we went was clean and organized, which allowed us to feel the hotel’s quality. It seems very hard to find a hotel offering this level of breakfast and service at this price point, along with an outstanding location. The level of satisfaction we received for the price far exceeded our expectations. Comparing it with other hotels in the Sokcho area, Sea Cruise Hotel's value for money is truly outstanding. I am confident that it is the best choice for travelers looking for luxurious and comfortable accommodations at a reasonable price. Intent to Revisit and Strong Recommendation Sea Cruise Hotel offers the best value for money with top-notch breakfast, making it a hotel that I am 100% willing to revisit.
