We stayed at Seaview Resort in a Deluxe Pool Villa, and overall had a very good experience. The resort has the potential to be truly outstanding, but signs of wear are visible in the general areas. With some maintenance (paint, cracks, landscaping, refill ponds), this could easily be a top-tier 10/10 property. That said – the villa itself was excellent. Keep in mind that Thai hotel star ratings don’t always compare to European standards, and many hotels here are aging. ⸻ 🏋️ Gym – 8/10 Modern, quite new and well equipped. 📶 Wi-Fi – 3/10 Poor coverage and slow at times and occasionally drops. 🛎 Front Desk – 7/10 Friendly and helpful staff, though no towel/drink service on arrival. 🧹 Service – 7/10 • Cleaning: Excellent. • Breakfast service: Very good. • Beach restaurant: 5/10 – slow, inattentive, expensive. We even received another group’s order. Welcome drink voucher not worth using. 🧼 Cleanliness – 7/10 Our villa was spotless and well-maintained, not showing much age. General spaces could be cleaner (leaves and bottles left from previous day). 📍 Location – 8/10 Right on Nang Thong Beach. One part of the hotel is beachfront, the other across a small road. Beach is walkable in the mornings before the tide comes in. 🏡 Room (Deluxe Pool Villa) – 9/10 Spacious (105 sqm), modern and well-equipped with indoor/outdoor shower, tub, fridge, kettle, slippers, bathrobes etc. Great beds and pillows, fresh towels and soft beach towels provided. Private pool & sunbeds in a quiet area – perfect temperature for cooling off (pool edges could use refreshing). 💰 Value for Money – 7/10 Approximately ***/night for two in high season – very reasonable for what you get. 🍳 Breakfast – 8/10 Fresh and good quality with plenty of choice. Missing fresh juice & pancakes, but overall very satisfying. Go before 08:00 to avoid crowd and noise – outdoor seating recommended. 🏖 Pool Area – 9/10 Clean and refreshing, though slightly worn edges. Plenty of loungers. Beachfront beds get “reserved” early (07–08), but no shortage at the pools. Loungers not that comfortable due to metal bar in backrest. 🍴 Food Nearby – 9/10 Fantastic dining options right outside the hotel (e.g., Café O Bar). Family of four eats well for 650–950 THB. Phu View Restaurant is also worth a visit for the great food and views. We didn’t try the hotel restaurants. ⸻ 🌟 Overall – 8/10 A lovely stay – especially in the Deluxe Pool Villa.
