Resort Experience in the City”
I visit BKK twice a year and have stayed at many properties but the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit was the best hotel that I have visited so far. The selling point for me was the rooftop jungle maze like pool. It's like staying in a resort but with all the attractions of BKK close at hand. The pool is absolutely gorgeous, giant plants everywhere making it look like a lagoon. There are many private little nooks to sunbake and enjoy the yourself. This rooftop spa-swimming area is an engineering feat. This hotel was constantly surprising and all of the surprises were good. I loved the gym and the gentlemens spa/sauna/grooming station. The buffet was very good. All of the staff were attentive and I didn't get a whiff of the BKK attitude you get at some hotels around town. I really liked the area - although if you stray to far into Nana it gets a bit dicey. I usually stay around Siam or Silom but this was nicer yet still close enough to the action to be fun. It is connected to Terminal 21 which I quite liked. The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is also directly connected to the BTS so it is very convenient to get anywhere. The decor of the hotel would have been cutting edge in 1994 but it has been well maintained. It is a bit daggy looking but who cares? The bedding is very comfortable and the room has been well thought out. I had a few niggles with the bathroom - the shower door didn't really close and the toilet was a little bit weird. I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you feel like you might want to stay here and are dithering just stop and choose it. You won't regret it. Room Tip: My room was fine but a bit drab. I was facing the city which wasn't a very good view. I booked well in advance and got a much cheaper room rate. Also get a Starwood Preferred Guest Card and they'll put you in a better room, the card is free and you can use it immediately.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
This was my first time staying at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. I'll definitely stay again on my next visit to Bangkok. Sure it has its own entrance to the Skytrain at Asoke Station, and it's withing walking distance to the Sukhumvit Soi 11 nightlife, but what really sets this hotel apart is the professionalism of the staff. They are quick, polite, and charming. Other great aspects of the hotel include the oasis-like pool and the library. On the downside, I thought the breakfast buffet at the Orchid Cafe to be substandard. Recommend breakfasting at the Basil restaurant.

Luxury hotel with beautiful breakfst”
Have stayed a number of times at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. Very nice rooms and comfortable beds, you don't hear any noise from adjoining rooms. Wonderful staff and a great swimming pool, which provides an excellent escape of the hustle & bustle of Bangkok. Probably the best breakfast buffet in Bangkok, if not Asia with an amazing choice of food, all of the highest standard. Very close to Asok BTS and convenient to new shopping centre Terminal 21 and plenty of restaurants nearby.

Centrally Located. Will definitely return”
I have been to Bangkok numerous times and this is the second time I stay in Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel and it is the still my preferable choice if I will return. Room is clean, staffs are friendly & attentive. Hotel is close many amenities like pub, restaurant, Robinson shopping center which is just crossing the bridge opposite, and spa massage centers. Will definitely go back.

Superb where 5Star really means 5 Star”
Superb!! This property is really a 5 Star property. Everything about it oozes top quality: furnishings, maintenance, outlets and most of all the staff. It is amazing that one property can get it exactly right, where another hotel just does not get that staff training is paramount to an impression and continued customer satisfaction. The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is a pinnacle of good management. I recommend the weekend buffet dinner and defy anyone to say it is not superb quality and real value for money.

An amazing plance”
The hotel is located in the very centrer of bangkok. The hotel is new and all the facilities are amazing. The gym is super nice to be a hotel gym, the sauna is just amazing and there is also a huge hot tub with a steam room as well. The staff were really nice. My friend checked in the other sheraton and for some reason they gave him a room (i guess both Sheratons rooms in Bangkok are connected?) Anyway, its strange how a booking in 1 can be shown in both, after a while we got it sorted out and then arrived at the right place. The rooms were huge!!! This place was everything a hotel should be :) But why is the pool not on the roof? Why 3rd floor?

Great location for staying in Sukhumvit. Right next to sky train/malls. Staff are very friendly. Have to pay for internet if you do not book through Sheraton directly and internet is EXPENSIVE (along with everything else at the hotel, which is understandable for the luxuriousness), but luckily the front desk attendant hooked us up cause we were poor backpackers looking for a nice place to stay for our last stop in Thailand. Pool is very nice, but not good if you are looking to get a tan. Definitely a 5 star hotel though.

Room With an Awesome View”
We stayed at the Grand Sukhumvit for 4 nights. We had a room on the 31st floor and had a fantastic view. Our package which included breakfast, cocktails and a butler service. The hotel and staff were awesome and I can't fault a thing. I don't think there's a hotel in Bangkok that is in a perfect location for all sightseeing but around the our hotel there was an amazing shopping centre (Terminal 21), an MRT station and plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs.

Luxury lodgings in heart of Bangkok”
The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit was the perfect place to start our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and the room was gorgeous. The bed was huge and so comfy. The location was just perfect as we could walk across the walkway to the massive shopping centre or jump on the train to head anywhere else we wanted to go. Only down sides: breakfast not included and the view from our room wasn't great. Would definitely recommend to others!

Great service and vibes if that is what you love!”
The Sheraton Grande is all about atmosphere and great service. Staff is going out of their way for you, which makes you feel special. I love the spaces downstairs at the reception and the flowers and the deco. I think the place has great vibes. That is important for me. But I would like to pay a little less and in Bangkok you can with almost same or better amenities. But it will maybe not get you those vibes! And location!

Family trip”
The Sheraton at Sukumivit is located right next and connected to the subway and train system as well as a walkway into the shopping center across the street. Staff was courteous, the rooms spacious, the pool was wonderful. Like a oasis in the city. We loved having breakfast there in the morning. The beds were great with four pillows each and they even had a pillow menu where you can choose five different types of pillows. That was a first in any hotel I have been in. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will be my place to stay when I go to Bangkok again.

Hotel with good access to the trains”
Stayed at the Sheraton for 4 nights when I recently visited Bangkok. Was pleasantly checked in by someone who really looked like she was enjoying her job. Her enthusiasm - and friendliness will sort of place you in a pleasant holiday mood straight away. :) Best thing I like about the hotel is the location. From the hotel, there is a private access to an overhead bridge that leads you to the Asok BTS station and the Sukhumvit MRT. Travelling around Bangkok by BTS and MRT is a good way to escape the massive traffic jams. One has to experience it to know how bad it can get!

Great stay at Sukhumvit Sheraton”
Had a great stay at Sukhumvit Sheraton along with family. It is great value for money with spacious rooms, excellent facilities (the swimming pool in particular is worth a mention) and great location right in the middle of Sukhumvit with plenty of options for restaurants and shopping within walking distance. One of best properties we stayed in recent years. Highly recommended.

Quality hotel in Central Bangkok”
Excellent hotel in central Bangkok. Unfortunmately the ground floor facilities were closed in the evening as our stay was during the Thailand election protests. Hotel has direct elevated walkway to BTS system, and is opposite the subway system. Many local restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance. Shopping abounds nearby, from state-of-the-art shopping malls such as Terminal 21, to local street market on Sukhumvit Road from Soi 3-15. Hotel staff very attentive & friendly, swimming pool is excellent, everything you would expect of a high end hotel.

A premium hotel in Bangkok”
The Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit can't be beaten for location. A covered walkway from the hotel's lobby to the Asoke BTS. If it is raining you haven't got a problem. The breakfast might be equaled elsewhere but it won't be beaten. It is outstanding. Just one little quibble: Why no Bangkok Post in the mornings? Only the New York Times and the previous afternoon's edition of The Nation!!!!!!!
