“Perfect for my needs ”
Pros: Location was perfect for my needs, close to bus stations (Avenida and Sampaloc). Also not far from my venue, enough places to eat nearby, and an easy enough walk to SM. I didn't use the pool or gym, but they are one floor apart with stairs, and free with room. Staff was really nice and allowed me early check-in, and so very friendly on 30th floor. Also lady staff came to my room to collect garbage dressed very nicely, not the usualy cleaning staff. I was impressed. Also water refiller station on the floor below me, so that was convenient as well. Cons: Rooftop bar / resto is overpriced for a student area. A bottle of beer is p250! Maybe trying to keep students from drinking, since the local 7-11 also didn't carry any beer or alcohol. Food dishes were also pricey. Also, the two times I went most of the tables were reserved for large parties, and all the tables with views. A nice staff lady allowed me to sit at a reserved table 2nd time since there were still 2hours before the parties booked. Also the 2 for 1 Margeritas were good the first time I went, but 2nd time although it's a deal 1pm-4pm, there was no bartender to make them, and I wasn't planning to spend p250 for a bottle of beer, so I opted for the House Iced Tea which was really good. Not too sweet. Overall I didn't really enjoy my time in the rooftop eatery. For the rest of my trip I just ate in my room. TV, couldn't really figure out how to get it to work in the room either. So I just used my laptop to watch stuff. Cleanliness could be improved in the room. Kitchen sink was very stained and didn't seem to be cleaned in a long time. Didn't use it so it didn't affect me, but it's the first thing you see when you walk in. And the plug for the CR sink was clogged with hair from previous guests. Overall I'd stay again.
