Just take about 15 min. walk from the hotel to most of the sightseeing. In the front of the hotel, different bus routes take you farther to other parts of Macau.

Great service and convenient location”
I was there with my boyfriend for the weekend. We ordered a no smoking room. The first room assigned to us smells like smoking room anyway. However, after I called, they immediately transferred us to another room with a better view. I was very pleased with their management. It was a pleasant stay.

The first thing that stood out was the 100 people waiting in line right out front waiting to get on a tour bus. Apparently, this is the pickup point to take many people back to the Mainland China border. Waaaay to much chaos just walk-ing up to the place! However it gets better. The hotel is gorgeous, well appointed and the staff were welcoming. I guess I’m just used to someone showing me to my room when I first check in, but maybe it’s different in Macau...as most things are. I was sent a Sofitel review by email and the only complaint was the pillows were not what I was used to. No biggie. They do have a sleep menu, but I don’t feel like for the price paid I should have to spend more on different pillows. I mean this is the Sofitel after all and if you’re broke you’re probably not staying here! After submitting the review online I got a call in my room 20 minutes later suggesting some different pillows no charge and they would be bringing them right up! 5 stars for service.

All the staffs from the lounge are very nice and went way beyond our expectation. The rooms are big though some functionalities such as speakers in the whole room does not work due to age of the room facilities. But the rest are OK.. the best stuff to look forward to are the jacuzzi, karaoke room, and lounge

This is a hotel of a certain age, but I give it a 4-star recommendation given its location and the attitude of the staff service.”
This is a hotel of some age and overall has some dated. I did not enter the casino downstairs, so I will not have a review of the casino here. Some of the rooms in this hotel may have a locked door between them and the room next door. After the first night I realized that the soundproofing of this door was very bad, I went to bed early at night and the guests next door came back to the room in the early hours of the morning and talked loudly and I could hear them playing "double sports", after talking to the receptionist they decided to upgrade us to an upstairs suite with an ocean view and made sure no one was staying next door. The first thing I felt when I came to the room upstairs was that the whole room was much more airy, and the guest room was not stuffy or humid, so I was very comfortable, but on the second night I could still hear guests passing by and talking in the hallway. The hotel is very close to all the famous attractions in Macau, and there are many delicious small stores nearby. A convenience store is located on the right after getting off the elevator from the hotel lobby, and a bus stop is in front of the hotel, all of which seem very convenient. The hotel has a bus that leaves for the Border Gate every day starting at 10am, which is convenient for those who want to go to Zhuhai. But if you want to go to the airport, it's a nightmare. Besides taking a taxi to the airport, the map recommends that the best route to the airport is to take a bus detour to Border Gate, then take bus 51 to reach the Macau University of Science and Technology station next to the airport, where it takes more than 10 minutes to walk to the airport, and I still recommend taking a one-stop tram to reach the airport. I give this hotel a 4-star recommendation given its location on the Macau peninsula and the excellent service of the staff and the speed with which they handled issues.

A bit old environment but staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean and I love the shampoo and conditioner keeping my hair smooth. We were luckily upgraded to suite as we arrived hotel around mid night. I don't have to wait my friend to get washed as there is two nice bathrooms. The location is quite good and easy to go anywhere. A bit disappointed there was no gift from hotel as I remarked birthday celebration. Location: 9 Hygiene: 9 Hospitality:8 Facility: 8 CP value:8
