Station 3 hotels & places to stay

We were greeted with the BEST tasting welcome drinks that had pineapple & mint. This was so refreshing since it was so hot out & the hotel was a little walk away from the alley where we were dropped off. And we were upgraded for free to the best room in the HOTEL! This hotel was definitely our favorite location of the 2 hotels we stayed at. It is located directly in front of White Beach in Station 3 & was less crowded than the beach in Station 2. We had a great time swimming on the beach & paddle boarding towards a secluded area. You do have so plan your beach time since station 3 is where all the boats dock. But if you wake up early enough. The boats don’t arrive until after 830 am & you have the entire beach to yourself. The staff is so friendly & accommodating. Truly felt so happy here & would definitely come back again in the near future. I would’ve posted pictures but I don’t see an option to. Thank you so much Ocean Club Beach Resort. So many fun & happy memories had while staying there. We loved everything about it!

Bamboo Beach Resort is an ideal hotel for Budget travelers in Boracay. For just $30 you will be able to stay at beach front hotel in Boracay station 3. You will really love the location because you do not have to go for a long walk to the beach like other budget hotel in station 3. To our surprised upon checked-in we were given two welcome drinks for me and my wife. We were able to avail an early check-in because of our early flight to Caticlan. The Front desk clerk named Shiela was so accommodating, friendly and always with a big smile to her guests. Our rate has an inclusion of free breakfast plate set-up either Filipino or Continental breakfast. The room that we have stayed was at the 2nd floor with verandah having very clean room & bathroom, clean linens and towels, LED TV, mini bar fridge, window type aircon, shower rain and strong water pressure. Staffs are very accommodating and you can feel that they are always ready to attend your needs. Our only negative observation is, they have huge closet but no lock or Safety deposit box to keep your valuables belongings, however you will feel that the hotel is very safe. Over all our stay is really pleasant and enjoyable. I will definitely book again and recommend it to my friends and relatives.

I enjoyed our stay here so much. Our room was spacious, complete with basic necessities like refrigerator, microwave, and kitchen utensils. We were also provided with room slippers! I absolutely loved the breakfast, they have a lot of choices. I especially loved their fresh hot choco & bacon everyday!! The staff were great too! They were very courteous, greeting us with smiles on their faces everyday. The best thing is the location of this hotel which is right in front of the beautiful white sand beach in Station 3. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like about this hotel. If I were to go back to Bora, I will book Astoria again.

Loved this place! If you're planning on staying in Boracay for a week or more I recommend Roxon Apts. It was nice to wake up and have breakfast without having to get dressed up and go to the hotel restaurant. Kitchen was satisfactorily stocked with dish ware, utensils, and pots and pans. I only wish they had a toaster. Previous reviews alluded to Roxon being off the beaten path; I fully expected to hike a dark and dangerous foot path to the top of a mountain to reach Roxon but that was not the case. Plenty of light to see at night. I brought a flashlight with me but never felt the need to use it while walking to the apartment at night. A short 2 minute walk to the beach. Roxon is located about the middle of Station 3. Plenty of dive shops and water sport rental outfits nearby. The room was cleaned everyday. The hotel staff are great and accommodating. We asked for an additional blanket and was provided one with out hesitation or having to ask a second time. Each room has a small balcony with table and two chairs. Main gate to the apartments is locked every night between 5-6 pm. Internet is available for P50 a day in the room, or you can go to the roof top patio and use it for free up there. If I ever get back to Boracay for a two week stay again I'll be staying here!

The staffs are REALLY nice and the view from the room (Bonito) was just as expected - best choice ever!!! We moved to another hotel in Station 2 after our stay but I really wanted to go back to this calm and chilled but beautiful place in Station 3 (actually it’s in between). It’s located to next to the famous yummy restaurants/cafes in Boracay. Highly recommend for the best location with quiet but fun vibe at the same time ;)

Pros: Affordable, Free breakfast, free dinner, free wifi. The restaurant faces the beach, you can sit in the chairs facing the beach and just relax or order some drinks. Cons: It's a bit far from where the action is. The location is in station 3, far from D'Talipapa or even the tourist center, but you can walk to it. Initially we couldn't find the resort as we were expecting it to be nearer station 2/3. However, the area is quiet and it's actually a good location to chill and relax. There are sari-sari stores nearby. The rooms are not beachfront, so don't expect beach views. Rooms are basic and clean -- bathroom was more spacious than I expected, the rooms just had enough space for 1 queen/double bed + TV + some shelves to put your stuff. Yes there may be some other hotels with the same price with a better location and bigger room space (like 2 double beds, so more people can fit in). However, for our purposes, with only 2 adults to fit in one room, the free breakfast and free dinner made staying worth it for the money.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Hue hotel for our 8th anniversary. Everything in the room is new and clean, my daughter loved the huge pool by the lobby, staff were nice and Station X with discount for hotel guests is great. Can improve on breakfast and maybe a shuttle to D’mall/Station 2 & Station 3. Transpo within Boracay has become challenging and limiting because of the one-way route.

Stayed at Surfside for the second time (first time was back in 2012). The hotel remains the best bargain on the island and with the best staff. They are extremely friendly and accomodating. The hotel is in Station 3 and is small (14 rooms) so you don't get overwhelmed with crowds and the beautiful beach is mere steps from the hotel. The breakfast is the best and the coffee shop has a great assortment of Filipino, Japanese, and western food for lunch or dinner. There is also a very good spa at the hotel. The hotel is also close to Angol Road, so is easy for drop off from boat dock or getting a tricycle to go to Station 1 or 2. Really enjoyed it.

We chose this resort because there was an ongoing promo, they were offering a significant discount. Plus we want to stay in a rather quiet area away from the noise and crowd so we could lay back, relax and unwind. True to its location, the place is really a quiet, laid back place. Just what I and my family needed to enjoy our stay in Boracay. Gone are the days when I often party until morning. Been there, done that. Now that I have a family all I want is to spend some happy times with them. Hey Jude South Beach didn’t disappoint. It’s in Station 3, far from the maddening crowd of Stations 2 and 1. We loved it. The rooms were cheaper compared to others but they were very spacious. We got a room with veranda and we enjoyed eating our breakfast there. The room was clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed swimming at the beach. I think the water there is much cleaner than the other stations. The only downside to this place is it’s far from grocery stores so my tip is from day 1 you go to the D’ Mall or any grocery stores and buy all the things you need up to the last day of your stay. Our room had a refrigerator so we had no problem with the drinks that we bought. But overall, it was a pleasant experience for us staying in this quieter side of Boracay.

This hotel, on a beautiful beach. The staff were way above nice. The bar tender, not only provided us some useful knowledge, he even went out with me and my friend during the night AFTER he finished work. The other staff were very accommodating in everything we asked. We only planned to stay here 2 of the 8 nights when we first arrived, but it was so good we stayed the whole time. Since Boracay is getting more and more popular, this place is NOW the ideal place to stay. The walk is a little far to D-mall, but in the end I ended up appreciating this walk as it gave me a little exercise between the great meals I was eating all week and it is the really peaceful and quiet part of Boracay now. The location is the best of both worlds as you can walk to Station 2 for partying and then find peace and quiet back in Station 3. I would highly suggest staying here unless you are a type of person that needs to find something wrong wherever you stay. Don't stay here then so you don't wrongly affect the possible experience people can have staying here. I will be back for sure.

Location: Beachfront on Station 3, away from the hustle and bustle of Station 2 but still within 20 minutes walking distance. Trikes are available for a fee if you are not keen to walk. The restaurant/pub and reception fronts this family owned resort. The rooms are located away from the main beach area which makes them quiet at night. There are restaurants, pubs and convenience stores within short walking distance. Room: Large unit style with verandah. Aircon, hot shower with choice of normal shower head or raindrop style shower head, fan, TV, DVD player, in room safe, comfortable bed and pillows. There is no fridge in the room. The free wifi here has the best strength and consistency of all the properties I have stayed at Boracay on this trip. Facilites: No swimming pool but the fine powdery white sands and crystal clear turquoise waters of White Beach are right in front of you. The hotel provides beach chairs and beach towels. The hotel also organises tours, transport, scuba diving and rents out kayaks. Restaurant/Pub: The beachfront restaurant/pub is the highlight of this place. It attracts people from nearby hotels to hang out and make new friends. The friendly staff led by John could very well be the main reason for the attraction. The meals are delicious and drinks are cheap. There is a pool table for punters. Pros: There is a chill out vibe at Station 3, something you don't feel at Station 2. For snorkelers, you can walk towards the end of Station 3, about 5 minutes from here to swim at your own stretch of beach with corals and fishes about 20 meters from shore. Cons: No complaints but there were renovations in the rooms above mine. It was noisy during the day but work stops at 6pm. They are adding new rooms and constructions should be completed soon. If you plan to walk to Station 3,2 or 1 at night, bring along a torchlight as there is a stretch along the path which is not illuminated.

Sundown Beach Studios was phenomenal. Perfectly situated in Station 3 in Boracay, it was calm and quiet, yet only a short walk up the beach from all the noisy day/nightlife you could ask for. Our room was picture perfect, looking just like the photographs on Agoda, and not an item out of place. They even had the room pre-cooled when we arrived. The bed was big and comfortable, having two individual comforters, so no fighting over the covers. The Patio was huge and and offered great views of the ocean and beach below, two loungers and dining size table and chairs. The bathroom was well appointed with extra towels, and a full compliment of premium soaps and lotions, and there were even toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and shave cream, and q-tips. The only thing "missing" would be a pool, but you don't even miss it when the ocean is just a few short steps across the sand. All of the staff at Sundown wear a sincere smile all day, every day, and seem to genuinely care that your experience there is awesome. We will definitely make another trip to Boracay, and will again stay at Sundown. I highly, highly recommend Sundown, especially if you prefer to stay in the quiet and peaceful, yet be close enough to walk to the ongoing party in Stations 2 & 1. Oh, and don't miss walking up to Dos Mestizos for some of the best Spanish tapas anywhere, and awesome service.

We stayed at Anahaw Apartments for two nights. The hotel is situated in Station 3, and is only a minute away from the beach. We loved staying at the hotel. Only downside was, the room we had was on the 4th floor and there was no elevator, and I was with my 72 year old Mom. It was OK though as my Mom could handle it. The first night, the manager/owner checked us and was nice enough to ask how we were. When I asked her the check out time, she said that we can check out anytime since the hotel wasn't packed during the time. We checked out around 5PM and had plenty of time to rest before we left. That was really nice of the owner. The room itself is big and clean and has the complete amenities. It has extra pillows available stored in the closet. The room as a working kitchen with almost everything you need if you plan on cooking inside instead of buying food from the expensive restaurants near the beach. They also have a hot and cold shower, and wifi which works great! The room also have a balcony for smokers. All in all, we loved staying in the hotel and would recommend this and would definitely book the next time we visit Boracay.

I stayed there during the Boracay off-season, which meant there were an abundance of hotels available. I found Villa Romero to be highly rated on TripAdvisor and so booked a Standard room with them as I was traveling alone. The hotel is located in Station 3, which I've heard might be a better location during the peak season as it is quieter there at night but a 10 minute walk from Station 2 where the majority of restaurants are. The hotel is also not located on the beachfront itself, but a 10-20 metre walk along an alley. The staff were very friendly, often asking how was my day when I got back to the hotel at night. There were a couple of times that they helped me to book tours with a snorkeling company as well as a motorized tricycle for a land tour too. One downside though was that the towels provided by the hotel were kinda old and worn out.

Overall a great stay. Staff is extremely kind and accommodating. To be honest we were out most of the time so didn't expect or need too much from the hotel. We are a gay couple that wanted a quiet getaway prior to us getting married in the states. They welcomed us with a sign at the entrance and treated us well. Below are quick pros and cons. PROS: Quick walk to the beach (2min) Budget friendly Friendly staff Quiet area Clean hotel CONS: No view of the beach Shared balconies Older hotel Sparse breakfast (toast/egg/coffee) No elevator Long walk from main road I would recommend this place for someone who's on a budget and doesn't need much. There's no wow factor here, it's just a room really. There's warm water, toilets work, a tv, clean sheets and friendly staff. You can have a private balcony if you request one early, like I did, so it is possible. They only have a few that are on the ends. You are in station 3 so that means you're more secluded. Enjoy!!

The location is great if you're after somewhere a little quieter in station 3, 2minutes walk from the beautiful beach for a nice sunset, good restaurants nearby with reasonable prices , hammock was a nice touch to relax in, we stayed in aircon room and it was very powerful, towels replaced daily and loved the little touch of the hot water and coffee every morning, bed was a little hard but still comfy, tv channels were very good if you just wanted a night in(we've been travelling 2months so a good selection of movies was a bonus, wifi didn't really work in the room but in reception was really good, shower had hot water, overall we really enjoyed our stay here! The only downside which is no fault of the resort is the insects at night get into the hut easy as it's surrounded by bush but it didn't really put us off to much as there is a mosquito net which I strongly recommend you use.

The hotel is located in Station 3, just a 15 minute walk from Station 2 restaurants and bars. The hotel was wonderful, it had a great modern, clean design and a superb bathroom (something I am always picky about). The staff was great, very helpful and friendly. The beach in front of the hotel is quiet - not so many hawkers as the hotel in stations 1 or 2. They have very nice lounge chairs and umbrellas. The breakfast was delicious - pork tocino is a must! I highly recommend for trails who may want a little more higher-end stay in Boracay without having to pay $250 - $500 a night

This might not be the best hotel around but I definitely would recommend this place. It’s just a few steps away from the sea and if you’re into a relaxing place to stay, this is the right spot for you! It’s in station 3 near 2 convenience stores 7 eleven and Green stop. Also in the reception area they have a restaurant which serves great thai food that it even changed my mind when it comes to thai foods! A bar which is not so bad for me if you’re up to a couple of beers while watching the sea. Price wise it’s not that bad the room is spacious maybe they just need to change the lighting into something cool in the eyes or that could brighten up the room a little bit. Overall I would strongly recommend Sulu Plaza Hotel and if I’m planning another trip to Bora, this is where I will stay.

Overall, my Boyfriend and I satisfied with this hotel. Their room is clean. Staffs are friendly, helpful and nice. This resort owned by a Korean, so it serve western and Asian food as well as Korean food. It located at station 3, about 1 minutes walking distance to beach. Walking distance to main road, so easy to get public transport. It is a relaxing place which we always enjoy our night at the front yard of the resort with some drinks and soft music. Besides, there are two cute dogs always welcoming you. The only thing to improve is bad wifi receive at our room.

excellent value for money considering the size of the room with balcony. you get a dinning area (plates/glasses/utensils), kitchen stove (pots/pans/utensils/rice cooker), microwave oven, hotpot, emergency light, hair dryer, etc. 3 rolls of toilet paper which is unheared of a room this cheap. very clean (turn over everyday) and very new, aircon is very good split type compared that as being the number 1 complaint with our companions in this trip which stayed in 3 other hotels. wifi was also consistent in the room but no wifi in the lobby. over 200+ cable channels many are in HD which is rare in the island, just made it more of a steal!:) store/pharmacy is a few meters away as well as a place to grab some breakfast. location is in station 3 so less crowded, less noise, calmer atmosphere. if you are into foodie trips and nightlife, it's a long walk to station 2 or 3. less restaurants and party places in station 3 but what food and drinks you can find are also cheaper:)

this is my second time here with my brother. they have modern comfortable rooms, which are a/c. as its hard to find a resort that offer 2 single beds this was perfect. it is in station 3 and its not that far to walk to great places to eat, and if you feel lazy get a bike. the only downfall i would say that the breakfast isn't the best, i would prefer a healthier option so on this occasion i did not take the breakfast package.

Stay was good. We only stayed in the room during night time, most of it spent outside the room. They have a big space for the standard room and good price for a front beach hotel in Station 3. Wi-fi connection inside our room unlike other hotels who only have in common areas. They don't offer hot water for our room, TV is outdated and very small. We have to move at the foot of our bed to see the words and people in it. Air conditioning is not fit for the room. It will take hours before we felt the cold temperature. Towel provided is very old and no soap or tissue provided.

Location is very near a budget grocery a talipapa and very near highway.good for budget group travellers.aircon is good but tv wasnt working that time plus toilets water is slow but overall we are satisfied with this hotel.staff's friendly they were the one who look for our massage therapist.overall good experience and definitely will come back in the future.location is at station 3

Boracay certainly has a lot of hotels to offer but you don't need to be in an expensive hotel to enjoy your stay, Wendy's hotel provides the best customer service experience one can have staying in Boracay, they make sure to treat their guest and make the most of their stay in Boracay, Best price, You can spend your money on find dining instead because wendy's per nigh stay is very affrodable.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. I have nothing bad to say about the service and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, and our room was always clean, cool, and comfortable. The price too is cheap, compared to the other hotels on the island. I would say that we got more than what we paid for, considering that this hotel is right on the beachfront. The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool, but this is okay because you have the beach right in front of the hotel. The only thing that thing that wasn't ideal for us is the hotel's location. This is located in Station 3 -- it was a 5 minute walk to the road to get public transport and then a 10-12 minute tricycle ride to get to station 2 where all the restaurants, the water sports, and the night life are. If you are not very interested in the Boracay night life and just want a laid back, quiet stay at the beach, then this place is ideal for you. Even during the day, when you go to the beach front, there are not a lot of people and you will feel like you have the beach all to yourself (which is also wonderful!) However, if you want to be nearer where the action is, I would suggest a hotel closer to station 2.
