Hello guys, a bored reviewer on Google Maps wishes you a blessed fasting period. This time while waiting for the breaking of the fast, I will review my visit to The Grand Palace Hotel Yogyakarta. The location is in the middle of the city, close to everything. I, coming from Central Java, had no trouble getting here, just follow the directions from Google Maps and you will arrive at the location. Actually, this is my second visit here; I previously came here around 2014/2015. I don't think much has changed. The hotel parking is quite spacious. Parking is under the sky, so if it rains, your car will definitely get wet. However, this is the concept to expose the columns and the Roman-style architecture because that is indeed the hotel's attraction. It can fit about 15 vehicles and there were two big buses parked neatly when I was here. Entering, I headed to the reception for check-in. I was a bit annoyed because I didn't get a room with a double bed/large mattress due to the reason that I did not confirm via phone/did not choose on the online application where I booked the room. However, the receptionist offered an option for a twin bed room that the staff would combine; it's okay because I was already tired and just wanted to rest. Entering room number 118, a non-smoking room. It is located in a corridor that directly faces the swimming pool, and sometimes you can hear people walking. Upon entering, the room wasn't very clean; it seemed like someone had just checked out and the room was hurriedly cleaned, evidenced by snack crumbs I found under the bed. I tried to inform the staff who happened to be in front of the room and they cleaned it immediately. This is good. The room isn’t too spacious, but it’s nicely arranged, with a 29-inch TV with limited subscription channels, an appropriately cool air conditioner, a vanity table, a hanging wardrobe, and a hidden fridge that can be used, along with an electric kettle, bottled drinking water, and free tea, sugar, and coffee. Entering the bathroom, it is quite small, with warm water always available, standard amenities, and two bath towels; unfortunately, there is no hair dryer. After resting for a bit, I took some time to swim in the pool. It's not too big, with a children's pool that has a depth of 50 cm and an adult pool with a depth of 1.5 m. It was quite satisfying for my child who really wanted to swim. As night approaches and the morning changes, it was time for breakfast, which is my favorite session. Our room plan included breakfast; I handed my voucher to the staff, and immediately headed to the food that had been prepared. Heavy meal options like rice, fried rice, fried noodles, soy sauce chicken, and stir-fried vegetables are available on the table. There are also various porridge options, toasted bread (which I love), and cereal. For thirst-quenching, there is infused water, juice, and traditional drinks. I really liked the breakfast, comparable to a four-star hotel. You can also order omelets made to order because there is a chef on standby on-site. As for the rest, let the stars speak. Location ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Close to everything. Service (Security, receptionist, staff, Restaurant) ⭐⭐⭐🌠 Quite decent, a bit confusing to explain. Facilities ⭐⭐⭐🌠 Room cleanliness could be improved; the swimming pool is clean and does not smell of chlorine 👍 Breakfast ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I liked it. The food was delicious and complete. Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐🌠 The price and the impressive experience for me, who got the rate around 3××.×××.

The place is not too far from the city center, the hotel is nice and clean, but during my stay there, there happened to be a lot of school children staying there as well. While I was showering, suddenly the water wouldn't come out, and when it did, it was just a trickle. I happened to have booked a standard room, and the atmosphere was a bit different. I immediately requested an upgrade to a larger room, and at that time a family room was available, so I moved rooms right away. The room is spacious, with two large beds, quite comfortable, and I was able to sleep soundly. The room directly faces the swimming pool.

So far ini hotel sangat recommended untum staycation. Dekat dengan alun alun kidul Jogja. Dari luar seperti bukan keliatan hotel karena arsitektur bangunan yang berkonsep seperti rumah atau istana, tapi pas masuk baru terasa. Lobby yang sangat luas dan proses check in yang sangat cepat. Untuk semua staff nya sangat ramah dan helpfully. Waktu check in dan masuk kamar, sprei masih ada bekas noda darah tapi langsung diganti karena saya request change linen. Dan untuk masukan saja, mungkin attention to detail dalam hal kebersihan kamar lebih di tingkatkan lagi karena masih ada beberapa hal yg kotor seperti foto yg saya upload. I stayed at The Grand Palace Hotel Yogyakarta for three nights with my family and was very satisfied with the experience. This hotel features unique classical Roman-style architecture and gives a luxurious impression from the moment you step in. The room we occupied was clean and comfortable, complete with amenities such as air conditioning, hot water, a refrigerator, and a bed that supports quality rest. The swimming pool, surrounded by a beautiful garden, became the children's favorite spot, while we could relax peacefully. Its location is strategic, close to Malioboro, the Kraton, and Alun-Alun Kidul. The staff's service was very friendly and quick to assist, from the check-in process to check-out. Overall, The Grand Palace Hotel Yogyakarta is the right choice for family vacations or couples who want to stay in a comfortable, quiet place filled with a classic atmosphere in Yogyakarta.
