I traveled 400 km from Seoul to Tongyeong for work and chose this accommodation after much deliberation to make my stay as comfortable as possible. First of all, despite the fact that it operates unmanned from booking to arrival, there was no guidance whatsoever on how to check in, let alone any text instructions. I was flustered upon arrival and attempted to call, but no one answered. I had to dig through blogs and reviews to check in. When I brought my luggage upstairs and saw the bedding, I was utterly horrified. As soon as I lifted the blanket, I saw *grainy sand* and what looked like *cockroach eggs* or *mouse droppings*, as well as *black specks*, *long hairs*, *short hairs*, and *curly hairs* that were too disgusting to even describe. I couldn't upload a video, so I included a screenshot instead. It was painfully obvious that they hadn’t replaced the bedding and had just carelessly reused what the previous guest had used. Feeling extremely uncomfortable, I tried to call the accommodation but after over 10 attempts, I was unable to connect even once. Since it was past 10 PM, I thought that might be why and left a text. They replied immediately. I sent them photos and videos and requested an immediate refund, but instead of a single word of apology or acknowledgment, they just responded with a suggestion to use another room and included ^^ as a smiley. Since I didn't trust the other room either, I requested a refund and insisted on a phone call. I kept trying to call but received no answer and only got repetitive texts with the same ^^ and a ridiculous response saying to contact them if I had any issues. I continued to reach out to Agoda through the email contact provided for refund inquiries, but the only response I got was the same ridiculous statement to contact them if I had any issues and another smiley. The host displayed completely unreasonable behavior regarding hygiene and cleanliness and communication methods. I believe establishments like this should not be used. I have never left a review, good or bad, for any business or delivery food in my life. After experiencing such unbelievable and unreasonable behavior, I hope that no one else suffers from similar damage as I did, and I leave this long message.
