A delightful gem of a place right in the middle of KB”
This possibly has to be the best place that we've stayed in KB. We were struggling to find a nice clean and well-kept place at the last minute and boy, are we glad that we booked Troika by Salaam Suites, Alhamdulillah! This place exceeded our expectations in all aspects. The location is fantastic, it is next to Perdana Hotel and there are several coffeeshops at the ground floor, among others, Coffee Bean and Starbucks. Good security measures as entry into the residential floors and indoor parking are strictly by access card only. We had a designated parking lot for our unit inside the building, which was very convenient. We stayed in a 1-bedroom apmt which was very clean, cosy, spacious, and modernly furnished. It had all the amenitied that we needed, a strong wifi and even Netflix! Customer service was great, the Manager, Liana was quick to respond and assist us. The self-checking in and out was a breeze, to which we were very thankful as we arrived in KB in the wee hours of the morning. We were so happy with the place that we extended our stay for another night and this was attended to by Liana without any hassle. Liana was also kind enough to allow us to check out later than the appointed time as I had a work meeting that morning. All in all, it was a great experience and we will be sure to stay here the next time we're in KB.

Very comfortable place to stay with parking for 1 vehicle only. the location at the middle city and near by to Bazar Tok Guru. u will get simple instructions to self check in and check out. air cond function well and very cold to on for night time. lift a bit slow and toilet quite smelly.

Salaam Suites was a decent option for a weekend getaway, offering comfortable accommodations and friendly service. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved upon to enhance guests' satisfaction. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean. The living room provided a cozy environment for relaxation, and the overall ambiance was inviting. However, there was an issue with the smell emanating from the toilet. Despite the cleanliness of the facilities, the odour was noticeable, especially when the toilet door was left open. This was a bit discomforting and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.

I'll start with positives. Staff and management very responsive to our queries and questions. Facilities is only pool and recreational area (gym for residents only) that's OK Location is excellent. WiFi was really fast. Everything is near. Apartment is beautiful, spacious, comfortable (however)... Negatives: 1. Booked 2 apartments as family group big. Asked for same floor 2 weeks in advance but we were 7 floors apart. with only one access card per floor and floor specific key, very difficult for us to get across to one another. Apartment was very dusty. But what was worst was toilet seat had mould and grime not scrubbed away from previous owners use it was disgusting looked awful) black and brown dots and stains) 😱my kids were afraid to use the toilet. . I had to buy a scouring sponge and toilet cleaner and scrub everything down. Towels looked dirty. Sent them to laundry to get washed before we could use them. Kitchen light constantly flickering. Wasing machine was not working. 2.5 out of 6 of the dining lamp light bulbs lit up. We didn't have a clothes rack to dry clothes but the other apartment I booked did. The "telekung"smelled bad so we had to send it to laundry as well. I don't know if I would come back to Troika with Salaam suites. I hope they imrove maintenance and cleanliness regularly.
