Fantastic hotel, better than expected”

I love this hotel. Three of us stayed at this hotel the night before our trek in Chiang Mai. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and got good reviews. When we checked in, there was some miscommunication and one of our friends didn't book a room. Even though the hotel was quite full, the super friendly staff quickly found a room for him, and without charging something outrageous! When do you ever see that anymore? The resort was great. Had a very relaxing ambience, the way it was set up. A very country feel. The rooms were enormous, so big we didn't know what to do with ourselves. The breakfast could have been better but then this place would have been too perfect. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here again next time I'm up in Chiang Mai. Totally wonderful!

Excellent Location, Accommodations & Guest Service ”

Wonderful staff here - extremely friendly & accommodating. The room was very comfortable with a large balcony overlooking tropical gardens and the pool. Complimentary pick-up and return to Chiang Mai Airport (only 4-5 minutes' drive). You can walk next door to Central Airport Plaza in about a minute (a large mall with excellent shops, food court and a great grocery store). Breakfast (included) starts at 7am, but we were leaving at 6:30am. At check-in, they offered a choice of boxed meals to take with us (which you CAN bring onto the plane), and they were excellent! Surprisingly quiet and relaxing, considering the proximity to the shopping mall and the airport - except for the frogs at night. There's a pretty pond next to the pool, but it's inhabited by many frogs that start "chirping" at sundown & continue all night. It's fine with the doors closed, but you definitely hear them if you spend evening time on the balcony, so just a "heads up" on that. Overall, happy to HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The best!”

My husband and I were traveling around Thailand for 2 weeks and this was BY FAR the best hotel accommodation that we stayed at. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a similar to a traditional Thai Teak Wood style and has an “indoor/outdoor” living. The ground are lush and green, the pool deck is immaculate and the grounds are large enough that you don’t feel overcrowded. It isn’t in the city “center” but maybe just a 15-20 minute walk. I recommend having the front desk assist with scooter rental so you can get all around on your own. It is a 5 minute walk from the airport but the hotel provides free shuttle service. If we ever get back to Chiang Mai this is the hotel we will stay at. Great value, great size rooms, and helpful staff.

A hidden gem”

I selected this property because I needed to work at the airport, a quick complimentary hotel shuttle ride or a 15-minute walk away. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how exceptional this resort was. First and foremost, an amazing and caring staff. Friendly at every turn. Spacious apartments. Right next door to largest mall in Chiang Mai. And a short taxi ride (depending on traffic) to the historic city. Wide range of restaurant choices on property as well as next door at the mall.

Beautiful Thai Antique Structure”

This is a very antique Thai hotel with beautiful Thai artistic carving and environment. We appreciated the hotel staff to upgrade our rooms to big 2-bedroom apartment. It was indeed feel like a home. The location is just few minutes away from the airport. Few minutes walk to shopping centre and probably 15 minutes walk to Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre for the Khantoke dinner.

Love this property&its sincerely good Thai service”

We've stayed here the last two times we were in CM. Once in a hotel room and the last time in its serviced apartment. We love it here so much that we had and will forgo staying at other luxury properties in CM. All you need is right here. A stone throw away from the airport, you can dash in and out in a jiffy. Yet it feels very secluded and super quite. It must be because of all the gardening and landscape of the property that creates this classic yet "sa-bai sa-bai" ambiance. We stayed in an apartment for a week and didn't hear a sound of any airplanes or cars! Above all, we were impressed with the kind and sincere service that Khun Aree (the GM) and her staff provide to all their guests. They are not only accommodating but also making everything even more convenient for your stay at VC@Suan Pak. The only category we didn't give full 5 stars is food. And it's bacause of its breakfast. While a decent spread was offered, we wish there more variety on sweet/dessert other than fresh fruit. However, food at their Thai restaurant "Suan Pak" was great. Its Yen-Ta-Fo noodle is to perfection. Their house-grown vegetable is amazing. Naturally, all vegetable dishes are great. Last but not least, their desserts are a must! We ate at this restaurant every other day in the span of our one week here! If you stay here, you'll understand why and you'll want to come back to stay here too!

A fantastic resort feel hotel in the city”

The staff were fantastic, polite and helpful. The room was spotless clean. I usually check the back of the chairs in the balcony and this is the only hotel that I found spotless clean. The food variety at breakfast is also rich. I enjoed staying at the VC @Suanpaak hotel and I will return in future.

Cute and perfecf”

We stayed here twice while in Chiang Mai. It is an adorable place to stay and I would gladly stay there again. Hotel staff picked us up and dropped us off at the airport free of charge. Also our flight out was late so after we checked out they allowed us to leave our luggage while we enjoyed our day and then they took us to the AirPort. The rooms were clean, beds were nice, free water was great, pool was clean, free wifi was great, the breakfast Buffet was amazing. All in all I highly suggest staying here. You will love the sweet staff and the atmosphere of this place!

Great boutique hotel”

When we travel for holidays we prefer to stay away from international chains to get better service and this is exactly what we got at this well designed and managed hotel. Great Quiet Airport Location,”

We stayed one night only arriving at the airport late and flying out early. We hope to come again and use the pool...it’s only 5 minutes from the Chiang Mai airport and the shuttle service is quick and on demand. We were upgraded to a one bedroom apt and the room was great, especially the shower! Ten minutes to the old city and also to Nimman, we might Ctually stay here again!

Pleasant Stay”

Near airport but not noisy. Beautiful swimming pool and garden. Clean room and nice services. Big shopping mall and other shopping complex next to the hotel. Not in the middle of downtown but easy and quick access to the downtown by grab taxi or tuktuk. I could enjoy quite and private stay in here. If I have chance to go to Chiang Mai again, I will try here again.

Hidden Gem”

We have been visiting Chiang Mai for nearly 12 years. We often go to Airport Plaza Mall but never knew this gem of a hotel was right next door. It was amazing how quiet and peaceful our stay was considering we were walking distance from the airport. Everything about our stay was excellent! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Even if you don't have the chance to stay you should visit the property. By far the most relaxing place we have every stayed in Thailand.

Brought my mom to a trip in Ching Mai and lived in this hotel for 6 days, all the staffs were very kind and helpful, they took excellent care of my mom as well! We got a free upgrade and the apartment was spacious with washing machine, family sized fridge and a small kitchen, feel like home. The host of the hotel is a very graceful, warm hearted old lady who took great care of her tenants, and even the cats there are very friendly too. We loved this place and Thank you!! The hotel is just next to the Central Airport Plaza, which is very convenient and great place for last minute shopping. But it is a bit far from the Old City (10-15 mins) and sometimes it is out of the free pick up range if you join some local tours. It is very close to the Airport though, just 5-10 mins distance by vehicle, and the hotel offer pick up & drop off services between hotel and Airport. On the last day we have to get to the airport at 4 am and they even made us packed breakfast to go with. Superb!!

Great place to stay!”

Large and clean room, well decor, and very friendly staff. They went out of their way to help me with Northern Thai dinner booking at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre and I really appreciated. Located only 5 min from the airport but early hear the planes noises. Next door to Central Department store so convenient to shopping or dinning. Pool was big but the water was quite cool, would be perfect if it's heated. There was a restaurant on premise so convenient and food was yummy! The place is value for money!

A garden hotel”

We stay here for our last night in Chiang Mai cos it is near the airport (5mins) And we discovered that this is such a nice garden hotel. My wife loved the flowers and the arts in this place :) Ms Aree was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival and departure. Transport to airport is commentary. The bfast is good. We will stay here for more days in our next visit to CM!

This is a hotel with content and connotation, the environment is very beautiful! Good service, good room, good facilities, everything is unexpectedly good! Very decent & good value, near the airport ”

Large comfortable suite - with kitchenette, lounge, bathroom & double bedroom. Clean and has everything you need and is less than 5 minutes from the airport. I stayed here because I had an early connecting flight. Personally I wouldn't want this to be my base for a longer Chiang Mai stay (I'd stay inside the city walls), but if you are looking for more space & cooking facilities, then it could be a good choice. Otherwise I'd use it before or after a flight. Staff are friendly and they provide two-way airport transfer.

Hidden Oasis”

Stayed here after paying 3x the price at a Sofitel - the staff at VC are the best I have ever experienced, anywhere in the world. There is not a single member of staff that is not enthusiastic, polite and helpful. Despite being near a highway, the hotel designers have truly managed to create an oasis - the pool area is beautiful, and there is foliage all around the property blocking noise from outside. The restaurant is also very good. I would definitely consider staying here again, particularly if the staff could introduce a shuttle into the Old Town (would just save the hassle of getting a Grab)!

comfortable & relax”

The friendly staff is my first impression of hotel and also Chiang mai. They upgrade me to the apartment room. And didn't force me when should I check out. The salad is the best I ever had, though I don't like the salad very much. I still finish them. If you want some place to relax, this a the definitely place you should choose.
