Top Hamel Pension in Location”
Visiting Yeosu with my mother and sister In fact, I looked at various accommodations in Yeosu, but the reason I chose Hamel Pension was its location and view. I think these two factors are major advantages of Hamel Pension. 1. It is within walking distance to the eateries concentrated in Yi Sun-sin Square and Nangman Pocha Street. If you dislike walking or need to take a taxi for any other reason, you can comfortably get around at least for the basic fare. 2. The layout of the rooms is diverse, so the view from each floor will be different, but at least the view from the third floor where I stayed was pretty good. It's not a dramatic or magnificent view, but the distant ocean view is satisfying enough. 3. The manager of the pension was also friendly. Disadvantages of Hamel Pension: 1. There is a slight hill when moving from Yi Sun-sin Square to the pension. Since the pension is located in a village carved out of the mountain, you have to go up some stairs for about 3 to 5 minutes. This was not a problem for my family at all, and there is another road that can bypass the hill, so I can't say it's a disadvantage. However, if you are bringing elderly family members, it might be good to check this out first. 2. Cleanliness of the accommodation. This was not an issue for my family at all, and neither my sister nor my mother mentioned it in relation to cleanliness. However, those expecting hotel-level cleanliness might be slightly disappointed. It maintained a cleanliness level above that of typical pensions I have stayed in, but due to Yeosu's characteristics, being close to the sea and having frequent winds, perfect cleanliness seems impossible. Overall, it was a satisfying accommodation. My mother liked the advantages listed above so much that she said Hamel Pension was better than the luxury hotel we stayed in the next day.
